OK Gents, I am damn close to making a deal on an 09 White Rubicon Unlimited. I know what they look like with racks on them. What I haven't seen was a good picture of anybody running a RTT on one of those said racks. Anybody here doing it? If so, would love to see some pics! Jack

I have also read that guys have been pulling really poor mileage in bone stock rubis, saharas, etc. So, you guys, specifically those in stock rubis (or at least stock 32") tire...

What are you guys getting for mileage out of a stock rubicon. I'm curious how the 4.10 gears are say vs the 3.73. Jack

Mount comes off the bottom and you can rotate it to be back mount if need be. Pretty flexible design really. The only thing I actually don't like about the lights is purely cosmetic... the red HID ring around the light. Would have preferred it was a more understated black, lol. Go figure...

Still going strong here as well. Seen several expeditions to the SW Corner of Oregon (Alvord Desert/Steens/Hart Mountain) and lots of back country travel between, plus plenty of your average highway, run of the mill stuff and they have been superb. I am running mine off of a stock toyota...

LOL, I didn't go an pull numbers on dimensions between early model suburbans vs 4th gen 4runner. I stand corrected, but as was mentioned, it is getting damn close. I don't think the 4th gen 4runner is too big for an expedition vehicle, it is just a bit too "soft" for me and I prefer a manual...

Are those Checkers/Schucks HIDs on the rack? They have the red ring so just curious? I have a pair that I picked up for $79 a piece from them a year or so ago now and they have been awesome! One of those killer deals listed out on IH8Mud and then coupons pop up... well you get the picture...

It is interesting reading a number of posts about guys wanting to merge the 4runner and the FJ or for toyota to put out a "proper" midsize truck? Am I the only one that looks at an FJ or a Tacoma or a 4runner these days and wonders why they have balooned into roughly the same size as mid 80s...
