Diesel engine options for classic Range Rover

I'm not sure why so many are crabby on the TDI, I have a friend who did a 300 swap in his D1 and absolutely loves it. Sounds like the OP knows what he's dealing with concerning the diesel motor options. I know the v8 may have more power but man the 300 off road is amazing! Also except for...

LR3 (LR4 RRS) air strut replacement job step by step

One of the most annoying things I've ever had to fix, well the stupid air line is the most annoying part and I have small hands. I had to disconnect the air line from the valve block(front right is what I replaced) in order to give me enough air line to connect it to the bag and then put it all...

    2000 discovery

if they take it for $500 you haven't done bad at all if I'm honest....probably all the basic fluid changes, very sensitive to overheating so could possibly need head gaskets, and many other things but for $500 you can part it and make that back and more

LR3 owners sound off, which tires?

This is exactly what I had to do. Heat shield removed and I had to get It down to just under 20 psi for it to fit with much "encouragement "

LR3 owners sound off, which tires?

Sorry for bringing this thread up again, but I'm working on tires for the 06 lr3 we have. I've found a set of nitto terra grappler 265/65/18 for a pretty good deal. This is the lady's car and 85/15 on/off road driving. No lift and no plans for a lift. Will this size work(spare fitment as well)...

Disco 2 , what year to pick?

Coming from someone who has owned both generations of D2's(99 and 04 current truck), hands down I say get the 04 if you want the D2. You get the CDL, better motor, and in my opinion a little better style with the light upgrades. I was able to find a S model that already had the head gaskets done...

Nice, I saw that one the other day browsing...I'm wanting a series 3 though. Other than a new frame it doesn't sound to bad. You make an offer or just walk?

    Tire Size/Gearing

I agree here. I've done business with Rovertrader for many years, and he's not one time taken advantage of me, and getting to know him as a friend, he has nothing but upmost character. To be honest half the crap bolted on my truck came from him, even helped me install some of it! I was a newb...
