FJ62 Axles Look like I'll be swaping gears, hopefully the ring and pinion are the same for the 60 and 62.

FJ60 axles Oohh, I like what i'm hearing, Since I already have an overdrive (nv4500) I'd like taller gears in the diff. but if they are the same I'll have to live with it. Since I have not cut my stock SOA in my 60 the 62 axles sounds like just what I need.

Fj62 axles The sheet metal at the brakes vent air to the diskc as well. Was there a stock gear ratio for the automatic? I sure would like taller gears for my 60.

FJ62 axles I guess i need to check the gear ratio, but besides the sway bar is different about the rear axle?

I just bought a set of FJ62 axles for my FJ40 and noticed that there is an extra gusset under the front axle. Are ther any other differances between the two. I may just rebuild them and put them under my 60.

fj60 sway bars Wow what a differance from stock, I just found a set off of a FJ62 so they will go on as soon as I can clean them up.

Lights on roof rack Nice job on the Tahoe. I'm thinking on going with the waterproof connector from west marine, if it heavy enough for all the lights, and run the wires through the front pillar. I may just change my mind holding the drill on a perfecty good sheetmetal roof.

Lights on roof rack I guess the biggest problem is getting the wires through the roof, a bulkhead fitting of some sort would be great. What I dont want to do is drill a hole, pass the wires through and use silicone to fill the gap.

Does anyone have a good idea how to get the 12 volt wires to lights on a roof rack?

Hydroboost Thanks, In my case I have a 6bt5.9 in my FJ60 so the pump should work ok. I read somewhere the are pumps with two outlets or returns, is the correct or needed? I guess I need to change the brake line fittings as well. Bill

I would like to replace my stock mastercylinder with a GM hydrboost, any help in partnumbers etc. would be great. The pump is stock '85 cummins 6BT5.9
