"The Blue" - 06 Tundra DC Limited - Backcountry Camping Build/Adventure Thread

It's factory. My '04 Limited DC has it as well but the switch is on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. The outlet is at the bottom rear of the center console.

    Tex's 2019 GX460 build

Wow, a bit surprised about this. I travel pretty much every week and now find it annoying when the rental cars I get do not have he digital speedometer. I'm also surprised about the auto high beams, my work vehicle, a 2020 Equinox has both of those options. That being said, I still would still...

BlueRanger's 2004 Tundra AC 4x4 "Do Everything" Truck

I know James well. He's a good dude and the guru on these units. When I saw what you were using such as the Volant intake and the Innovative gauge I suspected he might be your guy. My Tundra was one of the rigs that contributed to those maps on the unichip I believe.

    1st Gen 4runner Project: My COVID-19 Build

The 3.4 swap section on yotatech is the best resource for information on that 5vz swap. These guys are also a good place for a swap kit.

    Topper EZ lift thoughts?

Oh cool! Wasn't sure I'd be able to find someone with real world experience. Sounds like there are a few issues. That being said, would you buy it again or go another route? Really appreciate the feedback.

    Topper EZ lift thoughts?

Hmmm. I don't know. That seems like it would be a big design error if so.

    Topper EZ lift thoughts?

Thoughts on this? My wife likes that it's not on the roof like a RTT and can still fit in the garage. Want to see what others think before I entertain serious thoughts.

2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Overland build

Be careful. From what I understand Pro's cannot be ordered. Dealers are allocated a certain amount, and after that the only way for them to get one is in a trade with another dealer. Which doesn't happen often as they are a hot commodity. I've helped 3 people find Pro's and the best advice I...

    Need a new battery - 2005 Tundra

I have X2 batteries in 3 out of our 4 vehicles. Got them through Batteries Plus, not sure if you have them up there. Great service. The battery is an AGM, and X2 is a Northstar brand. The first one I got was put in my wifes Highlander. Thinking it was about 2-3 years ago and every time I fire...

Good to meet you yesterday. (Eric, in the ExPo shirt). You're telling me a Scion won best off-road? I would've been pissed if I managed to get my 4runner there!

What years Tundra do you recommend?

I have the TRD blower on my '04. What mods are you talking about because mine runs incredible? Now my 4runner with the TRD charger needed fuel mods but I haven't heard anything about the 4.7.

What years Tundra do you recommend?

I have an '04 DC Limited 4x4 with the TRD supercharger on it. I love this truck. My friends with second gen Tundras always want to take mine when we go on trips. It has the rear seat entertainment also and is very comfortable in the back seat, even for tall guys (6'+).

The 2nd Gen Redemption by _ExpeditionMan

Well since I wasn't planning on reusing them I just used one of my long impact extensions in reverse. That way they fit over the head of the stud and every hit will count. Even then I don't think any damage was done to them. I have the Blazeland long travel on my second gen. Had to change out a...
