    Winch options: TS9500 vs M8000

I've not been able to find one used at a price I'd pay. Sorry Craigslist seller, I'm not going to buy your used winch for $500 when i can buy a new one for less with a warranty... I ordered from warn factory outlet and they beat the price on amazon. Sent from spaaaaaaace

    Winch options: TS9500 vs M8000

Thank you for your feedback. There are a lot of junk winches out there, but the TS looks quite a bit better than most I've seen. However, I do like the idea of a tried and true m8000. Thanks for the feedback and excellent questions. I'll be putting it on my 98 Tacoma. The reason I am planning...

    $40 BaoFeng UV-5R Dual-Band Handhelds

Those laser cut mounts are pretty nice looking. If you can come up with a good way to fix it to a RAM mount I bet it'd be a popular option. Just picked one of these radios up as a cheap loaner to hand out on a trail run. Its no Yaesu but for $29 I wouldn't cry if it gets dropped

2nd Gen Winch Bumper BUILD (Pic Heavy)

Awesome build. Looks really good! Couple of questions - do you know what the whole thing weighs? 10 vs 11ga? Could you get away with 11 or is 10 the way to go? thanks

    $40 BaoFeng UV-5R Dual-Band Handhelds

That Wouxun mobile is expensive - I can't imagine why anyone would bother buying that over a cheaper, proven Yaesu, ICOM, or Kenwood..

    tacoma long or short??

I've driven the long bed DC, and it is looooong. I would never want to take one on any trails. The short bed with a bed extender is a great compromise.
