2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

100% agree with @Chadx :- "you don't want your step to be even with your camper threshold. It makes it awkward to step into and out of the camper. Like when tailgate is left on, it makes you stoop to get in and out rather than step down or up to naturally move through the doorway." The 4-step...

2020 Ford F250 on 37s - Expedition Truck Camper Build!

@montypower After you siphon from aux tank to factory vehicle tank, the siphon will still have residual gas/vapors in the hose. Do you do anything to dry out the siphon, or do you just stash it somewhere on the exterior of the truck where it can vent to the outside air?

Cover for full-size truck WITH attached flatbed pop-up camper

Looking for a solution for protecting my rig from the elements while stored in my driveway. (The camper will remain mounted to the flatbed on the truck.) My setup is similar to F350 with 4WC “Hawk” flatbed camper (or F350 with OEV “Hudson Bay” flatbed camper). The truck/camper combo is about...

TransferFlow weighing LARGER replacement tank for GASOLINE 2500/3500 Rams ! !

Users on the hdrams.com forum are reporting that TransferFlow has reached out. TF is seeking feedback from potential customers as its considers building this product. I love the HD RAM, but we all know that it's weak point is fuel range. Getting a larger tank in the 50 gallon range would be...

2020 Ford F250 on 37s - Expedition Truck Camper Build!

So, 21 gallons in 12 minutes is 1.75GPM. Not bad for gravity. Is that with a 1/2 diameter siphon or 3/4? Do you have a purchase link? Thanks!

2021 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-HBE pop-up flatbed pickup camper (renamed the "Hudson Bay" for 2023 model year)

That was fast, thanks! Hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like you possibly could fit a larger bike inboard, if you didn't mind the extra step of straightening the handlebars (to run parallel to the bike) by loosening the two allen bolts on the bicycle stem. I hope you enjoy your...

Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) BASE-CAMP Pickup Camper - Soft-Wall and Hard-Wall Versions

Thanks for the thoughtful response, Eric. Yes, I've got a Transit Sportsmobile with Quigley 4WD conversion. My use case is remote camping, mainly the Sierras and Baja. I'm looking at truck-based campers mostly to further my off-road capability, and I agree on the OEV build quality. I totally...

Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) BASE-CAMP Pickup Camper - Soft-Wall and Hard-Wall Versions

(Brought the below over from the OEV "Backcountry / Camp-X" thread) Hi Eric, Congrats on the Basecamp! Looks like a great setup. Since I am also a Sportsmobile guy looking to transition to OEV (probably the Hudson Bay), I was wondering if you might elaborate on the nature of the...
