Not sure where you live, but those statements about Bronco and 4Runner prices do not apply here in Texas. We bought our 2022 Bronco for our son at invoice in August of 2022. Ordered in July of 2020. Just picked up a 2023 Lexus GX 460 at $1k over invoice. Have bought several (2017, 2019, 2021)...

Definitely at least upgrade to the Bilsteins, then do your alignment. Will drastically reduce the Toyota nose dive they are famous for.

FYI, you have to post a sale price. My mistake if I missed it somewhere, but read your post a couple times and didn't see it.

Because that makes zero sense. Chances of it being repaired to original would be extremely slim. I would never accept it back after the frame repairs. Most insurers won't shell out over 50% (that I have read about) of the fair market value of a vehicle in order to repair it. Easier to total it...

Thanks for your writeup. We have lived in Fredericksburg for 15 years and I had no idea that route existed. As for your opinion on the Nimitz Museum, you know what they say about opinions. The vast majority of our residents love the museum and the design, including myself.

Just for reference, we bought this 2021 new in 2020 for ~$86k. Insurance gave us a check for $105k. We had a 2012 Rubicon totaled in almost identical situation in 2014. It had 12k miles on it. Insurance gave us $8k more for that one than we paid. We have been very lucky. Geico has been awesome...

No sir, our insurance totaled it out and we did not keep anything.

Luckily, found an extremely low mileage 2021 replacement.

2021 18,xxx miles. Our 3rd 200. A lady hydroplaned and hit my wife head on. My wife was lucky enough to only walk away with concussion. Great vehicles. Just found replacement and was delivered today.
