    Unimog Wheels - 20 x 11 - Set of (6)

I am selling (6) 20 x 11 Unimog wheels. They have some surface rust from sitting but they are very usable shape and could be easily repainted. They fit a Unimog with disc brakes. I bought them for the tires but I had to mount them on a 20 x 9 wheel to fit my 404 with drums. I am asking $500...

    33" BFG K02 on my '10 L322

Looks good. I have 275/55r20 KO2s on my L322 with lift rods. They have been great on and off road so far.

15' Ram 2500 - Carli vs AEV vs Misc

Let me know how that ends up. I have seen Pure Performance online but I don't know much about it. I keep deciding to just wait for the Carli kit then every Monday when I head out for work I'm determined to change something about half way through my drive.

15' Ram 2500 - Carli vs AEV vs Misc

Good information. I guess that is 26% softer than the OEM diesel coils? If so that might still be firmer than OEM 6.4 coils..... I might end up with a AEV bumper or winch down the road, but the diesel is still like 700lbs ( give or take ) more than the gas. If I add a winch I will probably...

15' Ram 2500 - Carli vs AEV vs Misc

Well, I'm getting closer to a purchase so I called the Tech Dept at Carli. They told me they don't offer a lift for the 14+ gas trucks and wouldn't recommend their diesel kit. As I suspected, they said it would be way too stiff due to the weight difference. In a nutshell he told me they sell...

    Reliability of RR L322 2009 and Defender 110 (or 130 HC) 1985-90

I have a 94' RRC and a 08' RRSC. Both have been good vehicles and I would say are reliable. The 94' definitely requires more maintenance and little fixes but it gets used fairly hard while the 08' mainly just gets cruised around town by the wife. From many opinions the 07' - 09' rovers are...

15' Ram 2500 - Carli vs AEV vs Misc

I didn't see a Gas option on their website for the 2014+ but if I end up spending $3k + then I'll definitely give them a call to ask and maybe they'll be out fairly soon.

15' Ram 2500 - Carli vs AEV vs Misc

Thanks. I like them a lot. Did you notice any difference in switching to the 5100s?

15' Ram 2500 - Carli vs AEV vs Misc

Sounds great. Part of my apprehension has just been that the AEV system is fairly new and there aren't a lot of reviews. I do like their comments on why they use factory springs though.

15' Ram 2500 - Carli vs AEV vs Misc

I have a 15' Ram 2500 with the 6.4. It's been a great truck but I'm looking to improve on the stock suspension. I do a lot of highway driving for work and a fair amount of towing. I'm torn between the Carli Commuter, Backcountry, the AEV lift and some misc upgrades. I've heard wonderful things...

    AEV Prospector first drive

Has anyone had some direct experience with the AEV lift? It looks like the most complete kit for the money. I'm torn between that and spending a little more for a Carli system. I'm just worries that the Carli spring rates are more meant for a diesel and I have the 6.4 gas. The biggest thing...

93 RRC vs. 06-07 Range Rover vs. LR3

Interesting enough after posting this, we took our L322 on a trip this weekend. About half way there we had some sort of ABS issue that popped up (apparently it's been doing this every few days but my wife didn't bother to tell me this until we were on the road 3 hrs away). It's not a big deal...

93 RRC vs. 06-07 Range Rover vs. LR3

I would definitely keep the RRC especially if you have a nice one. They are getting harder to find and the aftermarket is growing. I have seen some very nice defenders and RRCs built recently. I know it might seem like a backwards step in some ways but a crate 4.6 would solve your power issues...

    Range Rover vs LR4

To me the "floaty" feeling a new EAS Land Rover is a positive thing. They soak up terrain and long hwy trips like few other vehicles but with that said it's not for everyone. I've had friends drive both my LR4 and RR and I get very mixed opinions about the ride. I will say that you get used to...

    Range Rover vs LR4

I might be a little late on this one but I've owned and wheeled both. I prefer the RRSC greatly over an LR3/LR4. Like someone mentioned above, they are just great to drive and I think slightly more capable off-road. With that said, the LR4 does have quite a bit more useable space inside due to...

    16" or 17" wheels?

I don't about SA, but the trend here is definitely going larger. I would go with 17's. It seems like there is a lot of availability on 17" - 20" all-terrain tires. I have steel 16's on my RRC and I'm dreading the day they stop making 255/85's (which has already happened with some tires).

And the reason why Ram didn't stick with Cummins is? New Fronteir Pro-4x

Totally agree. Dodge will have to do whatever it takes to keep Cummins in their HD trucks. If you go on the lot where I bought my truck in TX it's tough to even find a gas truck on the lot. They sell a ton of Cummins. While I think a smaller Cummins would be neat in the 1500s, I've heard good...

To super duty or not super duty....that is my question..

Not to argue for the argument sake, but if you read the comments above most of the opinions do represent current and former diesel owners. I agree that diesels have their place and not are not "bad" but the extra ownership expense is black and white. A diesel does cost more to maintain, purchase...

To super duty or not super duty....that is my question..

I have about 3000 miles on my 15' with the 6.4. I wouldn't say I hate anything about it. It has the obvious 3/4 ton gasser drawbacks of a firm ride and stiff suspension but that is expected and understood. The only brand specific issue I have is the engine makes a lot of noises. It seems like...
