So did you just remount the torsion mounts further apart? Have any more detail or photos on what that looks like?

Making a Larger Off-Road(ish) enclosed trailer??

Looking for ideas, guidance, or thought starters for making a larger slightly offroad capable tandem axle enclosed trailer in the 16-18ft range. I know it will never be a rock crawler and don't intend it to be. But I'd like to just get a bit more clearance because where I will be storing the...

Iceco vl60d dual zone fridge freezer - so cal

Selling my iceco vl60d. Works great just a bit big for my build. I just put brand new baskets in it, replaced the lid seals, the lids, hinges, and door catches. When I bought it the seals were worn out and the only way iceco would sell the latest seals was with full doors. Also have some spare...

OVRLND CAMPERS ONLY : Post your OVRLND Camper build here or a link to your build thread to inspire others!

Link below It's for a sprinter. Kind of pricey for what it is IMO. I haven't bought it yet and may try to find a different/more economical solution. Jay says they are just sheet metal screws so can be removed but don't over torque. Given it's just sheet metal screws I may consider just...

Has anyone tried unscrewing one of the roof screws? Trying to see if they are self tapped or into a rivnut on the ceiling beams. Reason is I did not get the roof rails from the factory (should’ve but didn’t think I’d be using them). I want to use this star link mount intended for sprinters so...

I added a deflector after a few drives. It definitely helped with the noise if nothing else. Though certain wind pattern/speeds I actually get some noise from the fairing itself. I went with a cheapo one mounted to a single rhino cross bar. I'm contemplating getting a more substantial one...

FS/FT 2022 ram 1500 trx with Ovrlnd camper shell

yeah that's the tough part about ordering 7 months ahead of time- things change. In my case, it's good because I got clearance to live and work from wherever I want which has always been the dream. However, it happened after getting my dream short-trip camper put together. If it doesn't...

FS/FT 2022 ram 1500 trx with Ovrlnd camper shell

I love this rig, but I’m considering going full time in the next 6-9 months so putting feelers out for potential trades more suited for a couple living full time. I’m not in a rush, so willing wait for the right offer. The truck: -2022 ram 1500 TRX level 1 -bed utility group, surround view...

passing heater or gas through wall on a pop-top?

Ram 1500 trx. So no cubbies and I’m very hesitant to put a hole in the bed. Both because it’s value and because on previous builds I only used the heater a handful of time a year. But when I needed it, I really needed it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

passing heater or gas through wall on a pop-top?

Hi All, I am working on a minimal build on my Ovrlnd camper and I'm racking my brain how to pass things through the solid walls. Shore power is easy with about 1000 off the shelf options, but I'm struggling to find good options for heating. I like the idea of a stand alone diesel heater as I...

I agree on the windows. Heavy, thermally inefficient and expensive. So I skipped them. As for must haves: -front cab slider. I use this a lot for ventilation or passing wires - positive pressure vent. It works. I haven’t sealed my bed at all and have a ton of visible gaps. I don’t have any...

Iceco vl60d replacement lids. Free- Orange County

I have three lids for an iceco vl60d up for grabs. Basically had the original 2 left and right lids that needed the door gaskets so ordered replacements. Then iceco accidentally sent me two left lids (they are the same and switchable in every way except the side the door tether is on). So I...

Same. I don't hate unistrut as it's nice to be able to pick up fasteners from the local big box store, but the larger channel means you have to use fender washers to attach a lot of stuff.

How is this set up treating you? What did you use to adhere the panels to the aluminum? I am at the stage I need to decide my solar set up and was planning on flexible panels, but I was going to try to mount between the roof screws which limits my panel size options since I also have a fan...
