Alucab Canopy Camper - $9k Denver Colorado

Hi, unfortunately the camper is not designed for a full size truck. You’ll want to look at the newer Alu Cabin models.

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I have also noticed that like any propane device it doesn't burn as efficiently at high altitude. The exhaust will smell more of propane than it does at lower altitude. I've done some research and apparently lowering the propane pressure at the regulator can solve that but I haven't tried yet...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Has anyone found a good quality marine, auto or audio box carpet that is approximately the same color as the Alucab carpet on the bed platform and that will work with velcro like that carpet does? I'm looking for some carpet to cover a bulkhead panel that I can velcro to but what I've been...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Not to pile on, but I've had a simple 1 pound (green colored) propane tank blow out a regulator because I left it out in the sun and hooked up. Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I had a very similar set of issues documented earlier in this thread. What you did was take your negative from your camper brake light since it is tied into the main camper harness and tied it into your house battery negative while leaving the camper brake light (correctly) connected to your...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

You helped a ton, thank you! I got it all working this evening. For anyone that has a similar problem (house battery not tied into their truck system/grounded to chassis) here was my solution. 1. If your install had the pink wire tied into your brake lights (so that the camper brake light would...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Yes, the brake light on the camper works. Is your camper powered by your truck battery or an independent house battery? If truck battery then makes sense why no tie into the pink wire as your truck battery will be connected to your chassis as well and that completes the circuit. Curious how...
