    Here is a picture of the passenger side from behind the wheel. You can see the upper control arm that I had to build to clear the frame, and the tie rod. I also had to turned new ball joint cups on the lathe and built those into the outer end of the upper arm. Those arms are built from 3/16"...

    Camping in Oregon last summer. Still a work in progress. 2002 VW weekender, tdi and 5speed swap. It's a syncro transmission, but I have a 4motion box from a newer van I'm going to try and shoe horn in. Hoping to find a rear diff and get the all wheel drive going for some beach driving too.
