Vehicles needs to be 25 years or older to be brought in to California. This is from '92 so no problem. Its also a diesel which is a huge bonus. Vehicles with diesel motors 1998 and newer are required to be smogged here in California. Since this is a 92 it is smog exempt. hope this helps since...

I like the Front Runner instant tent. small, light, opens up in 4 seconds. About 3 times the price of the Coleman but I've heard the Frontrunner's quality is top notch. Also forgot to mention that I like the original tent cots. Not sure if the XL can sleep 2 adults comfortably though.
