Crappy welds, but it will hold. It held from KY to CO thru Medano Pass and is still holding strong .

I took a small block of aluminum and mounted it to the awning extrusion. I drilled a hole for the poles and shortened the poles to fit. It took a bit of cyphering though.

The part that will break is the factory angled bracket. Have them weld a boxed gusset under that corner. The welds are all but ground away there.

Where are you located?

Another ME chiming in... it is rated for tongue weight where your 25m bolt is, not 15" away. You will need derate it by at least 6 to 1 due to the additional lever arm that you generated with the extension. Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
