Thanks as always Chad! Can you send a link or even just show those usb lights you have as they sound perfect. Ive not come across any usb plug in lights yet then again Im not in stores often as I’m finding I just head to the grocery store (Moab currently) and then back to off the grid camping...
has anyone done any modifications to the ceiling lighting (I find them too bright) or added any lower down more ambient lighting as I find when relaxing the lighting is literally in your face?
Thank You that did the trick! The one secret was I had to keep the freezer door closed while taking it out, duh!
cheers[

I was able to remove the freezer by opening the fridge door as wide as possible, pulling the freezer compartment out, and angling...
Can anyone tell me how you remove the freezer compartment from the fridge? Do I have to remove the whole fridge as the flange around it blocks the door from fully opening, hoping there’s an easier way?
thx
hey
Hey Chad,
great write up as always. Yes I HAVE had wetness under my bed even when not below freezing I’ve noticed lately. And I get that ring of condensation around the roof silicone and aluminum brackets (for roof lifts) anytime the temp is cooler say below 10C (what’s that about 50F)...
Well I camped last night in my first sub zero temps (-3C) and had some beautiful snow to awake to! I’ve got some condensation all around the caulking line at the roof top which I’m sure is normal as yet I have wetness under my bed so I think I’m going to have to experiment with the heat/fans/...
Well Aug 30th I finally got to Red Deer, Alberta where the Camp X is made and picked ours up. I’m living and traveling in it full time so its been a learning process of what to use for storage etc. I removed the rear seats in the truck to “increase” the payload (mine is 1700lbs) and to make a...
Can anyone tell me what the angle of the roof would be with just one side propped up? I’m wondering if it would be a steep enough angle to sufficiently charge with the roof top panel in the low angle sun of winter? I have ordered a Camp X with one rooftop panel and I know I may need a portable...
Thanks to Chadx and all of your write ups on here, going to likely pull the trigger this week and custom order one from OEV and pick it up late in the summer ?
We are going to be living in it full time as we travel about so will post a bit on here if we buy it. thx again crew!
that’s great to hear as I would like to do some backcountry ski trips for extended times and we also plan to live in it full time for awhile. So being a 2020, that is the 10lb propane tanks vs the 20lbs they have now?
hey overlanders, so I’m thinking of putting in an order in a month or so and we can’t decide, one vent or two? What’s the consensus folks?
Love the look of a Molle rack on the drivers side at least but seems like a lot of money for what it serves as we are unlikely to hang much on it, but sure...
I just like the idea of having 2 so you always have a back up when one runs out, especially winter camping. We always have a tiny MSR backpacking stove for cooking outside but a T junction is a good idea for those wanting a bigger outside “grill” so to speak. Also like two smaller tanks for the...
Hi, another newbie here! Bed Question: I’m thinking of ordering a Camp X this year without actually getting to see one in person, Im 6,1 and wanted to know can I sleep E to W comfortably or will my feet and head touch! I don’t want to go
the king bed option.
Thanks in advance, such great info...
