It really feels good to keep this old truck alive and give it a second life. Had I not bought it, the Suburban was about 1 more owner away from them extracting the last ounce of its life and sending it to the junkyard to get crushed.

Dana 60 and GM 14 bolt are back from the driveline shop. Stuffed with 5.13 gears and ARB air lockers. Time for reassembly!

Thanks! Transfer case is already sourced and rebuilt. It will be an NP205 with the Advance Adapter kit to mate to the 6L90E transmission. Steering will be crossover components from ORD. I hate to pay the price for it all, but it’s really the best way to go.

Body is getting there. Still needs cut and buffed. Should be finished this week and then it’s time for reassembly. The axles should be finished this week as well. Things are starting to come together!
