I found 12- 15mpg is the range. More load and pushing wind with the camper on gets around 12mpg. On the highway as a flatbed 15 is about average running 60- 65 mph.

2017 model, an honest 15 mpg empty flatbed, 12-13 with the 3000lb camper. The weight and wind resistance I suppose. Lots of 5th gear driving with the camper on, even on mild grades.

I did add a deflector and it too made a small change, mainly in how often the fan kicks on. The biggest annoyance is when it drops to 5th on a hill, rpms go to 3000+ The noise becomes painfully loud! I think OSHA would shut down our job site if decibels were this high from construction...

yep, I use the sound deadening inside, doors, roof, under floor mats, up under the dash, everywhere I could reach. It seems to my ear, this engine compartment component made the biggest improvement. No hard data to back that up, just a mechanical troubleshooters sensitive ear.
