The tube is around 1/4" OD so should not interfere that much. Very easy to undo if it is really bad. At $3.85 a gallon the slower it takes to fill up the more I feel I am getting my money's worth... :)

My SpaceKap is about 15 years old. The doors are the 50/50 ones. You do see changes over the years. A local utility bought it and never used it. Cutting the window opening will tell me a lot. :)

Good to know that the door is sandwiched. I thought they were bonded together like the sides. My main charging will be from a separate 2nd alternator I am putting on my Silverado. The solar on the roof will be just extra. Still looking for side windows.

The back window is about 18" tall. How tall are your side windows? The back door has an external and internal panel so it is at least twice as thick as the sides. I do not think it is going to flex at all. Maybe cut the inner panel larger so the window is just on the external panel. Hmmmm...
