    New to me Xterra...

Looks nice. FYI, for future endeavors (maybe you already know all this), some 285/70/17s come in a standard load, unlike the 16s, which avoids some of the weight gain of an LT/E1 load rating. I realize you have 16" wheels on the Xterra, but something to consider if you ever are shopping for...

2000 Frontier (Supercharged) Build and Adventures - Babe the Blue Ox

Full Exhaust - Magnaflow, Gibson, (Doug Thorley eventually...) I found a full exhaust for 1st gens on Facebook marketplace very close to me - I couldn't help it. I think I paid $700 for everything, which is a good deal, considering that the Doug Thorley headers alone are $775 before tax and...

2000 Frontier (Supercharged) Build and Adventures - Babe the Blue Ox

Labor Day Weekend Camping Trip Not a lot to report on the "build" part of this thread except that I took the Coastal Offroad bumper off and ground down all the welds... I had never done it and now it looks a bit nicer. Threw a new layer of paint on it at the same time too. It's still not pretty...

2000 Frontier (Supercharged) Build and Adventures - Babe the Blue Ox

Forum post limit cut me off - here's some more images. \ ^Very interesting to watch how these guys move around the sand. ^A classic - we do this hike almost every year. It's about 8-9 miles round trip but basically flat, so it goes pretty quick ^ Day 4 Campsite - forgot to take an...

Moab Trip, 2024 Moab Trip 2022, Moab Trip 2021, "Moab" Trip 2020 ^ Previous trip links. Each year, we try to do about 50/50% new routes & activities vs. repeat stuff we know we like. If you look back at the other trips we've done, you'd see a lot of familiar places. I'm going to primarily...

2000 Frontier (Supercharged) Build and Adventures - Babe the Blue Ox

Definitely - I love how small they are compared to other mid-size trucks. The supercharged option give the truck a more-useful amount of torque for getting in and out of the woods. The N/A wasn't bad until I had bigger tires and extra weight, but I am glad I have it for sure!

2000 Frontier (Supercharged) Build and Adventures - Babe the Blue Ox

"The" Big 3 I have hinted at this a couple times, and although it's not really part of the "build," I've just completed... Clutch, flywheel, throw-out bearing (as far as I can tell, original clutch and bearing was still in it!) Rear Main Seal (it wasn't leaking, but I am already in there...)...

2000 Frontier (Supercharged) Build and Adventures - Babe the Blue Ox

Howdy - a 16" wheel would fit just fine on the diameter, but the brakes stick out so far that they collide with the back of the wheels regardless of the diameter. I have not found a wheel that will bolt directly to the hub and clear the brakes without a wheel spacer. There's probably some out...

2000 Frontier (Supercharged) Build and Adventures - Babe the Blue Ox

Fuel Leak... FIXED? I finally got around to dropping my fuel tank and looking for the leak. I've had a smell of gasoline whenever the tank is >1/2 full and when I'm wheeling. Seemed like there was evidence of fuel running down the side of the tank, originating at the top. Here is my DROP FUEL...

2000 Frontier (Supercharged) Build and Adventures - Babe the Blue Ox

I've never broken shocks on anything except this truck. I have triple-checked the limits and I am not bottoming them out; the axle hits the bump-stops before hitting the bottom of the shocks. They do "top out" if I am flexing hard enough to lift a wheel, but that is also the case in my 4runner...

2000 Frontier (Supercharged) Build and Adventures - Babe the Blue Ox

I have a mig setup and would 100% weld them if 4WP ever doesn't honor my warranty for some reason. I'd like to keep returning them so that hopefully Bilstein sees enough of them come back that they fix the mfg. process for future users! I may do that in the future. The front rides ok with...

2000 Frontier (Supercharged) Build and Adventures - Babe the Blue Ox

Broken Parts... but Snow Wheeling trips Broke another Bilstein shock - I think this was the 3rd or 4th one. I have a warranty from 4WP, so I just take them in and get a new one every time. But it's annoying. Been thinking about trying to fit something else... they're about the same length as...

2000 Frontier (Supercharged) Build and Adventures - Babe the Blue Ox

5/8" Leaf Spring U-Bolt Upgrade Had some cheap, grade-2 u-bolts from O'Reilly for the last many years. They've gotten sloppy and I think the axle was clunking around in the pockets but when I tried to toque the u-bolt nuts down, they stripped out... should have known better. They did not have...

    WTS - '02 Frontier 4x4 CC LB - Complete Overland Build - $13,500 OBO - SC, USA

What's up Taylor! Was just thinking about your truck the other day when someone was asking me about ARBs on 1.5gens. Hopefully you can sell it to someone else who will take care of it!

Redone Auxiliary Wiring and Air Compressor Setup Welp, this is another wordy post... it was a lot of work, test fitting, figuring, etc. I'll try to be succinct. Pictures are included for any of you who, like me, don't like reading but do like pictures :) As stated before, I need to be able to...

    Nissan Photos - post your's

Got out and did some snow wheeling. Recently had the bed Line-X coated, so I had all the gear out and topper off - was pretty light in the back.

Thanks man! I'm always down to meet new folks, so we'll have to get connected at some point. Maybe run China Wall or something out by Tarryall - That's kinda in between you and me.
