Wish this fit a Tundra, but I am pretty sure from the vehicle specs it would be too long and too wide. Good luck on the sale.

    LR3 Shifting issue

My 16 yr old son and I have been fixing up a 2006 LR3. One of the "Quirks" with it is if you shift to hard/far into DRIVE, it put the vehicle into limp mode. Not only does it do that, but if you go into PARK too soft it won't allow you to take the key out of the ignition. there has to be some...

    LR3 Rear AC Delete

I found a 2006 LR3 that the guy has replaced the Air Ride with a coil system. The body in in great shape, the problem is the rear AC lines are shot. He said there is a way to do a Rear AC Delete on them but did not know the process and/or the parts. Does anyone know what this takes to do this...

    LR3 Questions

I will admit I have no experience with Land Rovers, but I found a 2008 LR3 for sale that got me thinking. I have been looking for a decent vehicle for my son to drive as he is just turning 16. This thing is pretty clean, but has 180k on it. They are only asking $3500 for it. Am I right to think...

    Heat Exchangers

The Heat Exchanger worked wonderfully this weekend. Added a mixing and it prevented that short blast of hot from stopping and starting the water flow. I will add some pictures when I finish fabricating the brackets for a permanent home for the quick connects. I would 100% recommend this. Thanks...

    Review: Joolca ENSUITE Mounted Single

Joolca ENSUITE Mounted Single I just received the Ensuite and took it on a 3 day weekend where we base camped. The weather was great other than a couple hours of rain storm on Saturday. The unit was used for both a shower stall and for the portable toilet. I really wanted to like this product...

    Heat Exchangers

To be honest I have not had great luck with propane units. I am mainly looking for a shower. I don't mind running the truck to do it. For washing dishes I will still use the propane I have onboard.

    Heat Exchangers

So due to living in an area with colder climates about 6 months out of the year (November-April), I would be using this all but December-Feb. We (I think I talked two of my buddies into installing these) plan on making it easy to blow out the fresh water lines and heat exchanger. From what I am...

    Heat Exchangers

I decided to go with 3"x8" 20 plate. It will be interesting to see if a mixing valve is needed. Looks like it has 2.85 sq feet of heat exchange area. I am hoping this will do it, because then I seen a 26 plate for $10 more that has a 3.75 Sq feet.

    Heat Exchangers

Thanks for all the Info J!m. Living in the north where we have winter temps 6-7 months a year, I was concerned with the freezing issue. The power of frozen water is incredible. I was thinking of plumbing in a way to blow out the clean water line(s). Just so I am clear, since this truck is my...

    Heat Exchangers

Thanks for the info. I am starting to tinker with the schematics for my Tundra. when you said: "Important tip: make sure you have a way to drain ALL the clear water from the HE. Ask me how I know." Were you talking about when not in use or during the cold weather months? KD

    Heat Exchangers

Well I am not sure, I just started exploring the idea. I have had some not so good luck with propane heaters, thought this might be the way to go for me. I would use it into the late fall time of the year and it seems to really be a more reliable option for what I want. most of the videos that I...

    Heat Exchangers

OK so I have been thinking of doing a heat exchanger for hot water. It doesn't seem that popular here in the US. I guess I am looking for the Pros and Cons. I am also looking for options where to acquire one here in the US. KD

    Comparison of these campers

I was super tempted to order a Lone Peak but then realized they weren't going to be be available until the end of the summer season (Aug-Sept). Knowing I will probably have to unload my RTT, since I will have no use for it. Might be hard to sell it that time of the year. The base price is pretty...
