    Boreas Campers EOS12

I find the double arm Lagun gives the most flexibility. You have to get the second arm from a European supplier, but it’s a real Lagun arm and allows the table to move pretty much wherever you want it.

    Boreas Campers EOS12

It’s amazing how well this table solution works for us. Completely changes the way we move around and use the cabin. Believe Boreas will be offering something similar with a new bench design as well.

Yes I posted photos on the FB page. It came out great and completely changes the way we can move around inside. It does do away with the expanded second bed though.

New Patriot Campers ST5 Super Tourer

Where are the these made? Looks nice but the hard walls are too low for the interior to be usable with the roof down which woukd be a deal killer for us. That's one of the best design features of our EOS and critical for bear country, extreme cold nights, and parks with hard side requirements...

    2024 Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe

I guess I’ll have to disagree based on the trailers I’ve seen. I don’t believe there’s any way a glass tub like an Oliver or Casita would stand up to the kind of abuse that a Boreas/Mission Overland/Arkto/Bruder type steel/composite construction could handle. There have been a few fiberglass...

    2024 Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe

I asked about how these things hold up because it’s not clear that Oliver’s are able to handle much off-road if you read some of the forums, and they are supposedly one of the best of this type. Fiberglass tubs can have their own issues. And maybe most of us aren’t trailering the rubicon every...

    2024 Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe

These look great for comfortable camping, but since this is an overlanding site, I have to wonder how any of these will hold up after lots of washboard or rough dirt roads. Obviously none of these are suited for anything crazy, but even with a lift and AT’s, it’s not clear to me that the...

A Moment From Any Current Manufacturers or Business Minded

Permanent bed is one of our favorite things in our EOS. We learned from our times renting a sprinter how much we disliked having to set up the bed every night. Main reason we wouldn’t even consider the mantis or airstream base camp.

    Our EOS 11.5

We just got rid of the table too because the long bench is fine for our daughter. Do like having a table though so have replaced it with a floor mounted Lagun using a mount I got from VanMart. Also got a double arm for the lagun so I can push the table completely over to one side. Have the...

    Boreas Campers EOS12

BTW, for anyone wanting an alternative table set-up, I’m almost done installing a modified Lagun table which will give us a lot more flexibility and space to move around. We decided we will never use the wider extra bed as the bench is fine for my daughter to sleep on, so no need for the center...

    Boreas Campers EOS12

Yeah, I like the solid feel too. Will probably replace the bent one and remember to keep the air compressor on if I have them deployed to avoid any change in air pressure leaving too much weight on the stabilizer. That’s I guess what happened.

    Boreas Campers EOS12

They decided to leave them off the latest EOS builds apparently. Not really needed according to Boreas. I kind of like them to keep the cabin from shaking in the middle of the night when someone moves around, but apparently there’s no possibility of the trailer tipping with the kind of tongue...

    Boreas Campers EOS12

Anyone else bend the rear stabilization jacks? I had mine out at 45 degrees while in our driveway for several weeks and the suspension seems to have lost enough air over that time that the weight of the trailer bent one of the jacks to the point where it won’t fully lock in the stowed position...

    Does what I want exist?

I’d look at something like a TAXA Mantis and just bring a portable outdoor cooktop to cook outside. There are other trailers like the Boreas EOS that would fit your family and needs, but doesn’t sound like you need that level of off road capability or cost. The new X version of the Mantis...

Trying to figure out which trailer to buy - Family of 4

I’m a happy Boreas EOS owner if you ever want info on this amazingly well built trailer.

    Chinese Trailer - NJStar Explorer

I agree that at that price you can’t find anything with those features, and maybe of that quality, but there are some US makes that manufacture trailers of far higher quality than this, with far superior parts, electronics and features, albeit at much higher prices. They also offer better...

High Altitude Trailers / Earthship Overland

Isn’t beating a trailer to death an expected level of use for an overland trailer? With other builders offering lifetime chassis warranties, no way would I touch one of these.

2024 Land Cruiser in the USA?

If the mpg is actually as good as the ratings, I’ll probably dump my Defender and get an LC in ‘25 once initial market demand burns off. It’s pretty much all about the mpg for me. The oil companies are taking too much out of my pocket every time I take a long trip with the camper.

Surprised no one is discussing the Cybertruck today.

Many of the subsidies for extractive energy industries are not available to other industries, and they are more than substantial. There’s a reason Europeans pay 2-3 times what we pay for gas and heating oil. We just pay for it differently and don’t realize it...
