The Ambulance and Vampyre are different vehicles with different purposes and a completely different look. Ambo is an ambulance and the Vampyre is related to Electronic Warfare/communications.

Having owned two early Disco 1s over a 15 year period I am not sure what these reliability issues you talk about - no different to any other vehicle - though the vehicle you are looking at is now 23 years old so any vehicle of that age will have issues.
Any issues that do come up are easy to...
What model disco - there are a few variations - Disco 1, Disco 1 Update, Disco 2, Disco 3, Disco 4, Disco 5 - various engines and gearboxes and suspension layouts.
So 17" only fit if you use spacers. All well and good in the US but in many countries like mine (AUST) they are illegal. So on an un modified vehicle 17" will not fit on a V8 - they do however on 2.7 TDV6.
You are correct that the alternator does not see 2 batteries and sees them as one - but disagree about not charging optimally - where the combined voltage of the batteries is lower than what is optimal for them - each will take what it needs from the alternator until combined voltage is optimal...
Yes exactly - that is why I ran a separate cable from the battery to the rear of the car with a dedicated socket to charge the camper battery and run camper accessories while driving.
Dc to DC chargers have their place in some circumstances but their main restriction is they are limited to what...
In my RRS I have just run a fused heavy duty cable direct from the vehicle battery to the rear of the vehicle with an andersen plug on it. The trailer plugs into this plug - when driving the alternator is charging both the vehicle battery and the trailer battery which the alternator just sees...
Why do people assume it is a crazy idea to buy a RR. If you think it is crazy then dont buy it. If you go into a purchase with a negative view you will always have that view and never be happy.
Go an see a therapist to get rid of this pessimistic view and then when cured go and buy a RR with...
Associated with the yellow error light you should have a message in the message center - mine just came on as well and it says check brake pads in the message centre. Changed mine yesterday and fault messages gone.
I store my spare fob in a secret spot inside the car. I have had a spare blade cut and it is stored in a magnetic box that sits on top of the chassis under the drivers seat. If I have an issue the I use the spare blade to unlock the emergency door (you do need to ensure this is maintained and...
With all things being equal - go the LR4 - same basic vehicle as the LR3 but just further developed. Nicer interior with a little of the little things sorted.
Stoopid idea for the Defender - stoopid idea for your LR3 - all for show and no practical use - good for the makeup and hairdressing utensils I suppose.
I have LLAMs and it works very well - always available - no plugging in or changing rods etc - all heights available with just a turn of a couple of switches.
With LLAMs if you drop to the bump stops you can still drive - and the chances of loosing air suspension is pretty remote, though possible. I ave no idea of rods.
Why do you need limiting straps - just not necessary. I use LLAMS on my often on the highest setting - up to 2.0" higher above the superextended height and have no problems with wheel extension - just have to be careful at the front with steering at full lock as the CVs are at their weakest...
