I agree with you, Thats why I made that comment about soccer mom's driving built out lifted sprinter vans. I actually owned a Power Wagon, it was really comfortable on and offroad. I hated it at the pump, I also hated having to back it down a step knife ridge with snow on the ground b/c I...

I have ridden in numerous trucks. I usually really dislike the ride in the modern 1/2 ton. They feel floaty and boaty. I like the ride of the modern 3/4 ton. The older 3/4 ton's 80's-90's are rough, you can loose a filling going over a speed bump ha ha.

For me the main interest in the F250, is for the solid axels, manual locking hubs and rear locker. I am only looking at the supercab or Fords extended cab short bed. it has a 142" wheelbase which is nice. I know the F150 would most likely be the "more sensible" option. When did sense ever...

If you want to go diesel and full size, I know there are numerous years to avoid and buy. I do know 2 people with 2018 F250, who have had a world of problems. I know that the 7.3 or a 1998 and below cummins is the way to go. With all the HWY miles in between the fun stuff,I would like drive...

I could not own a truck without a rear locker. Thats why Ford has my interest. Coming from owning alot of toyotas, I love the skinnies. 255 has been my go to over the years. Glad to hear it works on the F150...

I just test drove a new f150 and f250. I doubt I will go 2020, but just wanted to feel them out. The F250 feels like a truck, the F150 more like a car that can be remedied . The front end on the f250, is giant. It looks like you approach angels would be 15 deg. I still think for 21 century...

Yes, I was using it on the farm, it was a nightmare in the sierra's and the rockies. The newer 2500 are BIG. This is why I was mainly discussing the f250 reg./ext, shortbed's. The length is the same as a 4 door long bed tacoma. The Ram's are way bigger, I wont even bother them form my needs...

It seems to be the way of future a 3 ton truck to tow a 1/2 ton. ha ha I am not concerned about towing. I am one of those guys who just likes diesel. I think from the production of the fuel to the engine it is a better system, just me. The reason I started thinking about a full size again...

Here is the thing for me. I dont really need the tow capacity. This rig for me is solely a DD and and adventure rig. I am an admitted dieselphile. I used to own a a 2500, CTD, just a basic 4x4, when I was running the farm. It was great tow/haul. Man that truck would get stuck. I thought...

This is more of a stream of conscious post. I would like to hear some opinions. I have been personally looking / considering and seeing alot of others talking/ purchasing 35-50k mid-size rigs. Then you add a shell or some sort of camper, extended fuel tanks, etc.. Thats is some coin. I...
