    Transmission linkage problem

There appears to be numerous part numbers for the slave cylinder, so you would probably have to check with a dealer to get the correct one for your truck. For mine, the OEM part number is ME523205. If this is the issue, and you need to replace it, it is not a cheap part.

    Fuel tank check valve

You're not having a good run, are ya mate? It's just a breather, so any other check valve should be able to do the job. What quite a few people do is to run a hose from the breather hole (1/4" NTP thread) up to a higher location, which increases your fording capacity. Any diff breather type...

    Transmission linkage problem

Probably help a bit to know what model it is. There have been some people on this forum who have had their clutches cease from rust after being sat for extended periods. Was the leaking fluid thick or thin? If thin, then you may have done the seals on the slave cylinder. If that's the case, you...

    RUNVA OR SHERPA?

Sherpa is an Australian owned company who state that their winches are "developed" in Australia, but like the majority of all mass produced winches, the components are manufactured in China. Some of their products may be assembled in Australia, but the parts are not manufactured locally.

    RUNVA OR SHERPA?

I have Runva winches on my truck. I know other people with Sherpa winches on their trucks. Over the years, I have heard less complaints about the Runva, but they are both Chinese winches and not built to the same standard as some other brands. As I said above, if you do nothing else, changing...

    Fuso FG71 / FG83 / FG84 / FG140 / FG637 / FG649 - What do they mean?

Go to the below link and near the bottom of the page is a section labeled "Model codes explained". It does not cover everything, but it should give you a better idea of how the model numbering system works. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Fuso_Canter

    RUNVA OR SHERPA?

As with any equipment, you need to do your own research and base your decisions on those findings. My only advice on buying any Chinese winch would be to strip it down before use, clean it out and replace the original grease with a high quality, extreme pressure synthetic grease.

Electrical diagram 2000 fg 637 needed

Yes, I did note that this was a 12v setup when I looked at the battery wiring, but did not realize they would be that different. None of my manuals show a 24v setup for that year model, sorry.

    Fuso 3.0 , Duonic transmission, SCR ?

On all of the Fuso truck forums I frequent there seems to be reports of ongoing engine/electrical issues with this 3.0L model. From memory, there were a multitude of issues with the Duonic transmission, especially in the earlier days. I could be wrong, but I think that this ultimately resulted...

    Building a better shower pan

In my experience, gelcoat is a nice, hard surface with reasonably good wear resistance, but its biggest failing is that over time it often develops cracks. For this reason alone, I choose not to use it these days, opting for a high quality 2 pack industrial paint instead. If there are issues, a...

Looking for MUT-III Diagnostic Tool In/Around North Carolina

First rule of fault finding... don't make assumptions! Be methodical and eliminate all of the simple possibilities first. It may well be a complex problem, but it might not be. I should add that Fusos have a history of faults that can be traced back to poor grounding. As well as the blink...

    Clunking on acceleration

If it is not too late already, it might be an idea to use a high quality, fully synthetic extreme pressure grease on the new shaft/spline when doing the assembly, as synthetic grease does not dry out like regular greases do. Something like AeroShell 33MS or Inox MX6, which is what I use in my...

    Clunking on acceleration

Yeah... I had originally thought that too, but I am no longer convinced that's true. Probably a cardigan wearing accountant wanting to save money played a part in some of the design decisions.
