2012 Toyota Tacoma. Built for long term travel

@paddlequest, since your rig weighs similar to mine I would recommend adding two OME AAL's in. I found that one wasn't enough and am really happy now that I added a second one. Just my two cents...

    Safari Snorkel Pre-Cleaner

@FJOE did you order the 7" for your T100? I am looking at getting one for my Tacoma and curious as to how yours is performing?

    97 80 series to 2000 Taco Trd?

@the_dude I think that you should keep the 80 series. Once you add a camper to a first gen Tacoma your mpg drops significantly along with your range. I get between 14 and 16 depending on the type of driving that I am doing, just my two cents...

2012 Toyota Tacoma. Built for long term travel

@paddlequest here is a photo of my rack. It is made of 1x steel tubing with the flooring welded on. It is reasonably light (85 lbs) but solid enough that I can cruise around up there and strap down whatever I need. 20170304_150007 by Matt Sawyer, on Flickr[/IMG] Hope that helps!

Load range E on a tacoma?

No worries didn't mean to come off grumpy about the tire question haha. Dave I can't seem to find any tires in the size I need with a higher load capacity. Does anyone know of some good load range d or e tires in 31x10.50x15?

Load range E on a tacoma?

P Nut, Maybe it is just the tires (General Grabbers AT2 load range C) that I am running right now and not the load range but I have had two sidewall punctures in 10,000 miles and don't want to have to continue to deal with it. I imagine that load range d or e would help mitigate the sidewall...

Load range E on a tacoma?

So I am running stock Toyota alloy 15x7 rims on my Tacoma, and plan on sticking with the stock size of 31x10.5x15 but am looking for load rand D or E and can't seem to find anyone that has them in that size. Does anyone have any recommendations?

California to Panama in a T100

If you don't mind me asking what would you say your average cost per month to camp/ drive/ adventure is (in hopes that I can budget correctly for a similar adventure)? Is $1,000/ month unrealistic? Feel free to shoot me a PM if you don't want to post it. Keep adventuring and posting photos!!

Epic that you guys are getting waves down there by yourselves. Someday I hope to drive down to Panama and back and surf and adventure along the way in my Tacoma. Buenas suerte con su viaje amigos!
