    Smaller camp stoves?

We've been using the Jetboil Genesis Base Camp system for 4,000 miles through Mexico as well as in the states (we travel full-time), and it's proven very reliable. Originally we got the Luna burner, which can attach for coffee/boiling water. But when I just wanted coffee, I had to set up the...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Very nice! Congrats. Which options did you go with? I'm still waiting to see the water tank in the wild.

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Would love to put our heads together on this. Our son will be four-and-a-half when we move into this build. Our global journey will be 10-15 years, so we need a long-term plan. Eventually, Caspian can sleep in a hammock or ground tent outside. But I'm guessing we won't be comfortable with that...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Thanks very much! We finally got to see the Canopy Camper in person last week. It was on a Tacoma and the bed space seemed much smaller than I pictured. Fortunately, the Gladiator is wider and I know that one foot or so will make a difference.

Adventures of Hodor, A Gladiator Build Thread

Anxiously watching this thread. Time for us to sketch out the truck bed layout. Trying to figure out where to put a bed for our son, and how to place our fridge so I can access it best from the outside (where I'll do almost all of our cooking). I don't want to be going in and out to get things...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Just now hopping on this thread as we're considering the Canopy Camper for a Gladiator. The camper closes no problem with the Dream Island (which we also have) and pad? Do you keep pillows in there, too? If so, what size pillow? Thanks for all your insight--it's been really helpful.

    Do's and Don'ts

I don't want to be the jerk that makes hard things sound easy. But sometimes the best thing to do is to strip all the fancy entertainment away, and let the imagination flow free in the woods. My three-year-old will come up asking to "watch something." When I say no (which I don't always do) and...

Have you looked into rear facing car seats for your under fours?

Though we travel full-time, our domicile is Texas. A 2017 post said there is no law in Texas regarding rear-facing, and this remains true. However, our goal was to rear-face until at least two, and longer if possible. Our son has always been tall, so by two years, he had to bend his legs...
