    Alpicool LGCF55 lid latch issue

Closing the loop on this easy fix. The pics tell the story, but all you have to do is separate the the plastic under lid cover from the top cover. Remove two screws and use a small screwdriver to separate the two pieces. Cheers. Sent from my SM-G981V using Tapatalk

Looking for a replacement for the sagging ceiling net - Autohome Columbus

My ceiling cargo net is "pregnant" as it lost all of it's elasticity due to being 10+ years old. Has anyone replaced their with a net of similar dimensions with success? Autohome hasn't been able to bring me a replacement net so I'm looking elsewhere. Thanks.

Campchef Everest stove knob fell off!

It's time to re-visit the freaking knobs again! On our last campout, one of the knob kept sliding out, even with the tiny setscrew cranked down. As y'all know I installed guitar knobs which was working out for the most part. So, it was time to fix it once and for all. Went to Ace...

Replacement Ladder for My Rooftop Tent?

I'm late to the party but here's my .02 cents. I too have the Columbus Variant and tossed the ladder first thing, and got one of those telescopic ladder. Then, I upgraded to a second telescopic ladder from iKamper, because the rungs are bare feet friendly. Additionally, there are two eye...

Should I replace my DIY awning? Looking for something better...

I'd toss it and spend some serious mooolah!!!! You figured out something quite crucial and that is the effort it takes for setup and teardown. The easier something is to deploy, the more it'll get used. If you can afford a true "pole free" awning, I'd go for that.

    2024 Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe

Congrats on the purchase, such a sweet trailer. I've been camping in my GF's 2014 17' Casita for a short while and it's always a pleasure. Some improvements were made along the way by me that makes this camper so much more enjoyable. Once she has the dough, she'll spring for the shock kit to...

    Heating a small trailer

I realize that some of us sound very doom and gloom but Mr Buddy heater has been around for ages and for a good reason. They work and will shut themselves off before you get "shut off"!!!! Enjoy the rabbit hole!!

    Heating a small trailer

100% agree, they do sound like jet taking off. I've worked with the exhaust stream on my previous Espar unit since I've owned it for 10+ years. I think I tried few different mufflers made for small lawn mowers to see what did the highest amount of dB reduction. Sounds like stealth is very...

    Heating a small trailer

You're absolutely correct, cheap/chinese heaters make more noise, and often stop working prematurely (see my post above) than the units they've been copying for the last five years or so. My Espar is quiet and so is my previous Espar of 20 years of age. The fuel pumps are quieter and they...

    Heating a small trailer

Mr Buddy propane heaters are great and affordable. The trouble with them are: if the O2 level in your small space isn't adequate, the heater will not light off. So, you''ll have to take it outside for a few min, light off then bring it back inside. If the O2 level isn't high enough, the...

    Alpicool LGCF55 lid latch issue

I'm curious if anyone has experienced this issue with their lid latch. I'll try my best to explain the issue by using pics!! I drew horizontal lines where the plastic used to be and now they've bent upwards. I think four years of the lid slamming down on top of the fridge caused the plastic...
