So you want to build a Wedge Camper?

Just wanted to thank OP. This build thread gave me a ton of ideas for my project.

This is awesome. I hope it is still being worked on. Any updates?

    Food storage in Bear Country

Yeah they are pretty spendy. I'm looking the used route, but will take a look at this. For anyone interested in a chemical deterrent, pine sol or other ammonia based (non sweet smelling) or bleach based cleaners does apparently help (but not a primary deterrent). May be worth using as part of a...

    Food storage in Bear Country

That's a great resource. I looked at that yesterday and saw the cheaper lifetime cooler actually did really well. That is what I am referencing for my search right now. It's tough to get through the marketing fluff from some of the companies, and this is much better.

    Food storage in Bear Country

Hello all - Thank you for your responses on this, it's one area I have been scratching my head which direction to go. The point about the car door to the awning room being unlocked is a good one as the intention is for the awning room is to be a changing/hangout/bivy room with storage for...

    Food storage in Bear Country

Hello all, I car camp all around the northwest, and realized my food storage/sleeping setup was probably not the most ideal for certain areas concerning food smells in your sleeping area. I sleep in my 4runner, and I just got a awning/room setup that I am going to try out now that it is (3) of...
