Desert bliss at MacDowell Mountain Park

Made it to Stewarts Point. Found great spot out of the wind. Got in a nice ride.

Heading down to AZ for the Dawn to Dusk 12 hour MTB race. Stoping at Stewarts Point Lake Mead for a quick ride and camp. Thanks Raspy for the tip. Might stop in mesquite for some supplies. Plan on driving there at 4:20 pm. It's 8 degrees now but in the 70's in AZ.

Heading to AZ this morning to do a 12 hour MTB race. Stopping at Stewart's Point Lake Mead. Will find some winter desert dust. South bound and down.

I reserved a Scout Terra full EV. Hoping the 350 mile range grows by the 2027 production start.

Looks like 8.9 inches of ground clearance. One size bigger ko3s might get me to 10". Going to measure gx.

I am considering one of these. Its the base model and the only model that has 492 miles of range. My trailer is 4,000 pounds loaded with 400 pound tongue weight. I have a 2023 Lexus GX 460. If this truck qualifies for the 7,500 discount it will be 69k ish. The towing capacity of the Silverado...

My 2016 Transit was horrible. Had to replace the lame exhaust manifold at 72k miles and tranny was failing. Many other issues. I pulled a 3.5 k pound trailer and it is a bad tow vehicle.

They do have the typical made in china issues. One of them being broken trailing arm suspension do to shoddy welding

Had a BRS owner tell me to run for the hills on the US built BRS Pursuit. No idea why. Might want to really look hard and actually go to the factory . I know ROA had an AU built Pursuit that is a show/tester model for sale in SC for 75k. I wouldnt buy it until you see it as they might have...

So on the comander the step down ( lowest point) is 17" which is high enough. It does have gray tank. Now my only concern is the paint on all that carbon steel. See pic YT vid on the smaller model

So the Pro 4x with 6.5 bed has the most cargo capacity? Is it like 2,350 pounds?

Nice Titan. What is the official (from your owners manual) cargo caring capacity? How much does your camper weigh totally loaded. My research indicates the Titan has 500-600 pounds more in cargo capacity. Thx in advance.

That's awesome eatsleep...you have done an awesome job updrading your winne! I think any off road trailer that goes off road needs to have all drawers and doors secured. As far as screws coming loose that is more likely to happen if there is a lot of wood involved. Also like others have said...
