Camper Covers for Winter - What are you using?

I bought one of these because they are shaped to fit a slide in and there is a zipper for a rear door. Only problem is it fits too large for my camper. I haven't decided if I am going to cut it and sew back together or just get rid of it. It definitely too large as is to even try to make it...

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

Since it is warming up fast, I took the bus to El Capitan (El Cap). What a view. As I continued to look, I found a spot on the wall that didn't look normal. Sure enough, there were two guys that spent the night on the wall. That would be so awesome. The river goes right by the meadow below...

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

Mirror Lake is usually dry this time of year and it definitely was. Half Dome is way up top. Half Dome towers 4,800' above this point. The valley continues a lot further but I was not continuing my hike. I didn't want to get too far away from tent. The trail connects with another...

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

I was pretty bummed out when I woke up but after an hour or so I decided I would make the best of it and explore the park while it was cool. So I decided to do a hike to the base of Half Dome. The trail name was Mirror Lake Old Carriage. But before I began the hike I had these great shots of...

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

It was another long night. A lot of getting out of the tent to expel water. I woke up about 5 AM but stayed in bed because it was cold. I got out at 6 AM and everyone was up shortly after that. I was in a lot of pain and was cramping everywhere below the waist. It was much worse than yesterday...

It is amazing Machu Pichu still stands and they did not use mortar. We use mortar and it still falls down.

That rancher is amazing. Too often people want to shut down visitors on their property and then things like this can't be seen.

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

If I would have been a bit more quick in my thoughts I would have said we were all spies. A missed opportunity. Yeah I was wondering who would see the prairie dog. I assume you noticed the deer as well? Thanks for the compliment. If you go to the first page of this thread you will find a...

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

It is easier than asking if everyone is okay with me posting their faces on here... and I am not a fan of showing personal identifiable information (PII) online. That probably comes from my work given PII is such a hot topic these days. Or, I like being able to say what I want without anyone...

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

Three of us did pretty good on the hike. I did well even in my heat illness condition. A couple guys struggled a bit: one struggled on the climbs and another struggled with the distances and weight of the pack.

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

We passed this guy going in to set up a camp. More animals. These guys were really close to us. The highest pass on the trail. We made it into camp around 5 PM and shortly after had some visitors. We were by a bigger creek so I got in it to cool off again. I felt better tonight but...

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

We are leaving Ansel Adams Wilderness and entering Yosemite National Park. At the top. We took a lot of pictures. We are about to hike down into this valley far ahead. We had to stop about 11:55 AM because I was out of water. That means I drink over four liters of water this morning...

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

Sorry for the delay. Deer camp and Thanksgiving had me away from a computer for a while. I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. When I woke up I was in very bad shape. I felt bad and could hardly walk. My muscles were very tight and painful. Slowly, the pain subsided and I started to feel...

    My Journey

The place looks beautiful. Great work on the house and the yard. I don't have that decorator trait like you. Wish I did. Since @the deputy mentioned a book I thought I would mention what I just finished. I enjoyed it a lot. The book I completed was "Genghis: Birth of an Empire" and I loved it...

    ITTOG's Overlanding Trips

It was bad. I had never experienced anything like that before. Without giving too much away.... NO! Unfortunately. ;) More to come shortly. They said I pretty much had an attitude of lets get to work on the trail and get me out of here. Well, that is what I learned, the hard way. I had...

    My Journey

The golden sun and golden vegetation looks amazing. Great shots and what a great view all that must have been. The two showing the trail with the long grass on each side and the sun peaking over the mountain, WOW!!!! Edit: I have looked at those pictures for ten minutes.
