What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Replaced the front bank, after cat O2 sensor. What a pain to get it to break free.

    Fumoto oil plug drain valve

Mine is safely above a skid plate as well, I added a small hose clamp to keep the valve lever nestled in its locked position in case a branch came up through the hole in the skid plate. Mine has the nipple for a hose, I keep a rubber cap over it to keep debris out of there as well.

    The AR-15

Finally got to run my build. I'm the fat guy closest to you. Based on running it, I've since moved the angled foregrip further forward. Much more comfortable and controllable.

    The AR-15

First build. MA Compliant but with pre-ban mag. Sorry for the wrinkles in the flag. Had just taken it out of winter storage.

Do you feel the need to be unarmed and defensless while camping?

Don't forget the tires, without the tires the car can't hit anyone. We should ban them.

Concealed Carry - What Have You Got?

I carry an M&P 9c with Sig V-Crown 124gr in a Hidden Hybrid IWB/OWB, mostly on IWB. As the weather turns, I'll be converting back to more OWB with a jacket as concealment and then back again in the spring. Wife carries and XDS-9 4.0" in a CC purse, I have no idea what brand or model purse. I...

    Knife thread

Finally picked up my second Benchmade. This one is a Mini Griptilian in black. 15 years ago someone stole my first Benchmade. The Gerber Powerframe I got to replace that one finally died when I dropped it and broke the tip when it hit the concrete in the garage. I'd forgotten how good...

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Saw your rig just across from the Bay State Jeepers booth at the Rally. Looking good, mine is the near clone that was on the Crawling for a Cure booth.

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Plugs swapped out. Still looked good after 30K miles. I was having parking brake issues and pulled the right rear side apart to find that the actuating lever had rusted solid to the pivot. Have to pull the axle shafts to take the pivot assembly out. So, I'll end up pulling both sides apart...

Do you feel the need to have a weapon when camping

As well as the number that did not go through registering their magazines and "assault weapons" in CT. Only 50K rifles and 38K magazines were registered by the deadline...

    Trail tools picture thread...

In my case, it was what I had on hand. I don't own a corded 110VAC drill. I would not utilize a standard NEMA three prong plug as the danger would be that someone could think it was a 110VAC drill and plug it into an AC outlet. The cables I attached are 20' long and if a distance greater than...

    Trail tools picture thread...

I made mine by adding a cord w/ fuse to an old Makita 12V drill. Soldered the cord to the terminals inside the battery well and it clamps to the battery same as his.

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Picked it up and drove it the 150 miles back from Clayton Offroad after having the long arm upgrade installed by none other than Clayton Walters himself. One word for how it drives on the highway at 75+... Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see how it is off road soon...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Clayton from Clayton Offroad called me this morning to tell me the LJ was ready. Unfortunately, thanks to work issues, it'll be the week after next before I can make the 3 hour drive down to pick it up. He said it was driving "awesome". I went with the triangulated four link rear and the...
