Not sure how he did it, but I can tell you we saw lots of families on the road. We also found it cheaper to live on the road, than it had been living a normal life. We sold our house, saved a bit, and went. Setting up shop after travel wasn't hard either...just save some for that too. You can do it!

Having just spent the last month or 2 searching for just the right 100 Series for us, I feel you can do better. There are plenty of rust free Land Cruisers out there with over 200K in the $5K-ish range. If rust bugs you...keep looking. I would..and did.

Spent the last few days driving it from Orlando to Grand Junction, Colorado. Man...what a sweet ride. Had 93K and change, now a week later 96K and change. First drive in our Land Cruiser was a trouble free multi-state road trip....perfect way to start a relationship.
