The bigger the truck, the greater the (misplaced?) concern about payload?

Again, not they are not. Maybe look closer at the SRW 350 in the first picture. The devil is in the details. So, if you want to state your source, or is it “my cousins boyfriends buddy” that you get your info from?

The bigger the truck, the greater the (misplaced?) concern about payload?

I have a tendency to speak from personal experience and actually doing the work and research.

The bigger the truck, the greater the (misplaced?) concern about payload?

Yeeeeaaaaahhhhh, not so much. Maybe go take a look at the actual specs….Even within the model spring rates differ with packages. The camper or 9900 package for instance. Take a look at the wheels, they even have a different weight rating. The rear axles are different between the F 250 and F350...

The bigger the truck, the greater the (misplaced?) concern about payload?

This is for the 2022 F 150, start on Page 15 for the GVWR explanation and then the requirements for XXXX GVWR ratings. Need to pay attention to the little numbers for your combo. Finding a little chart like this BEFORE buying or ordering should help you get close to what you want...

The bigger the truck, the greater the (misplaced?) concern about payload?

A little clarification on the ”why” vs the “what” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truck_classification#cite_note-USCB1-8

The bigger the truck, the greater the (misplaced?) concern about payload?

If you Compare the F250 to the F 350 SRW there are only a few differences, like bed length and rear spring packs. However if you bring the DRW in the picture then the rear axle and wheel size. Also the rear spring pack really gets beefy. Personally having had all three a 250 and 350 SRW and 350...

The bigger the truck, the greater the (misplaced?) concern about payload?

I think that most of us that are using full sized are already past the bolt on stage. Not saying that there are not some serious examples of the bolt on queens in the 1/2. 3/4 and 1ton crowd, just fewer. It seems to lesson as the weight class goes up. Not really sure about the hand wringing, I...

Bub’bye to the 2 WD Ford Super Duty Trucks

Well, using 4x4 causes fewer ruts in the pasture. I can get about anywhere using 2 wheel drive but always have wheel spin. Even more so with a loaded trailer.

Did Any of You Get the F-150 Payload/Total Loaded Truck Weight Display Option?

I am pretty sure that I would have it mad at me pretty often. I do have to say, with my current ride. I have made it squat but I haven’t made it grunt……yet. The 3.5 EB and transmission combo is the stuff. Not sure why they don’t put it in the SD chassis.

Did Any of You Get the F-150 Payload/Total Loaded Truck Weight Display Option?

Good videos, and good to know that it is making its way up to the SuperDuty. I think it will really help with the loading of the truck. I wonder how it would work with a Weight distributing Hitch. Good times and would like to get my hands on that set up. One thing I noticed was that the trailer...

Did Any of You Get the F-150 Payload/Total Loaded Truck Weight Display Option?

Can ya give us a quick rundown and review of the system? I have seen some hitches where it was built in. I am wondering if it would show the pin weight on a 5th wheel or gooseneck. I could really see some good with this in a 3/4 or 1ton.

    F150 - 2.7L vs 3.5L vs 5.0L

Yeah, that sucks about the HDPP only on the lower end packages. I have tried the truck builder and searches with no luck. But what did it cost to get that Hoe mounted to the roof? Use that for snow removal?

    F150 - 2.7L vs 3.5L vs 5.0L

Thanks Martin, great idea. Did you have a RPM range in mind? How did it effect the fuel milage? Fuel costs have made me re think a few of my longer trips.

    Suburban Poptop vs. Excursion Poptop….

No Pix. What about finding a 3/4 ton burb with a larger engine. suburbians are a lot more plentiful than the fords and may be less expensive.
