Great Divide Trail from New Mexico through Montana

Days 8 through 15. I moved into Colorado by this point and the Rio Grande forest and the San Juan Mountain range. Just gorgeous. Tons of fly fishermen in the Conejos River. Saw plenty of homesteads and just grave sites with nothing around them except for the small fences and some flowers...

Great Divide Trail from New Mexico through Montana

Days 2 and 3 We spent the next couple of days traversing the Gila National Forest and the Plains of San Agustin before moving through the town of Mangas. All the roads were dirt, some slow moving through the Gila but not too bad. Rocky sections followed by mud and sand. The coyotes were...

Great Divide Trail from New Mexico through Montana

This is the Great Divide trail used by Cyclists, but I started in Antelope Wells New Mexico and stopped in Montana, right at the border. I didn’t make it into Canada on this trip, I’ll do this portion next year. Close to 2500 miles and 80% of it on dirt. Easy roads, rough roads and shelf...

I don't know either! Just pushed some buttons. I'm in Salida Colorado. Heading to Silverton. Where are you now? I've got some great camp sites tagged and your van would do it all fine.

Thanks Sleam for all your posts. I've been reading, getting ready to start the Divide Route myself with my two dogs, Gracie and ChiChi. I'm so excited, we will do a lot of the same roads you were on. I've made note where you have camped. Hope we run into you one of these days! We would be...

Oh boy Doug, that was rough! Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I try not to do real technical stuff with the trailer attached, but I've been caught before on a trail that I though Oh Crap. Well, the trailer stayed right behind so thank goodness. Yes, I have also tried doing those 5 and 10...

SoCal Tear Drop Owners! Post up!

I just finished a 5 day off road trip with my trailer built by Mike at Voyager, heater and all and it is worth it. We had some really cold nights. But the trailer did great over some rock obstacles and on switchbacks. This is truly an off-road trailer. No joke here. I went on trails that you...

Hey Chris! Or course. I ask Chris Ramm about you all the time. He is priceless to me. He helps me so much in outfitting my jeep and he has helped me tremendously with the trailer. I was jealous when you all did the Alpine Loop last year. I wanted to know how you did with the trailer so I...

I have the 459. I haven't had it too long, Mike with Voyager built it for me, but I've had it out on some difficult trails, and the trailer did perfect. Followed right behind and behaved well. I'm very happy so far. It goes right where myself jeep leads and you can't tell it is behind you...
