If only one: Fog Lights or Driving Lights?

We are getting ready to add a couple of lights to the front of a Jeep. Because we were looking for a wide light pattern, we decided on Hella Rallye 4000 Halogen Cornering Beam Lamps. You might want to check this light pattern (Cornering Beam), if your looking for a wide beam of light. I...

We clean up, pretty much as mentioned. Here in the midwest water is hard with minerals. Because we use a french press for coffee (We drink a lot of coffee), we seem to use one pot (Stainless Steel) for boiling water. The pot will calcify with mineral deposit, we always carry a small bottle of...

Building shower system, have question about pump

A bilge pump is not designed to be used as a pressure pump, its basically a transfer pump, sending the water from one area to another. If you leave the pump on, you will need to relieve the pressure or you could burn the pump up. You could use a hand held shower diverter valve to divert the...

Roll Up/Foldable Solar Panel Set-Up Ideas

The curtain rod clips are a good idea. I want to be able to clip the soft panel to the Jeep rack, horizontal rod on the Jeep awning and the rack on the trailer (Opposite side of the trailer rainfly). This would give us the option to clip on the panel facing the southern sky, no matter what...

    Securing the Trailer

Here is a GREAT portable alarm system to protect your camping gear. Steal Armor alarm/strobe light unit. I think this would deter someone messing with your gear, if your away from the unit (Fly fishing, hiking, etc.). I'd still cable down the gear somehow, with the alarm going off they could...

pls give advice/ troubleshoot Rack Mod on AT Chaser

Thats a good idea, we did the same thing. We made a small tray to carry our generator. We used 2" square tube stock for the receiver, added short legs/feet to the tray. We just leave the generator on the tray, pull gen/tray off the back of the trailer and set off to the side for use.
