This is the correct fix, you need bump stop. Shorter shock will still bottom out, something needs to stop the suspension travel. Even with new leaf spring if you hit it hard enough it'll still bottom out.

Thanks for the info, I've found my shocks, not other shocks can handle the weight of the camper. Bilstein 5100 is nice but it bottoms out too easily maybe the end-zone increased damping can help with my bottom out issue.

Finally an internal by-pass aftermarket shock. After I seen Ford offer one for the Raptor, I keep hoping someone will make one available aftermarket. Fingers crossed that ARB will have one for 05+ Tacoma.

Got it. Both tanks are interesting and looks good. It's great the finally there are choices of long rang tank for 2nd gen Tacoma.
