With my DCU I have had no issues with it holding up to flex so far I have had it since 2017 . So far I’ve spent around 125 nites in it and it’s been on my truck for about 100000 km. (2300 km of gravel roads one one trip )

As you can see in this photo I added some aluminum angle and 1/8 checker plate aluminum to the top ,it adds to the weight but it allows me to take photos from up there .

When I first built my camper and we went to the Yukon it was on stock suspension , my truck is an off-road Tacoma 3.5 MT . I was surprised how well it did .The only change I put 265/75/16 load range E tires on it .
I have since changed the suspension to OME ( Heavy duty )for more ground...
I interior was bare when I got it.I insulted it with 1 inch styrofoam SM .If it is cut a little big each way (1/8) it goes in nice .
