    Jeep Pickup pics

I've owned trucks and Jeeps. If I were in the market, I would have to as myself: why would I buy a Jeep truck over any other established line of trucks? Just a thought and conversation starter.

Looking for Forum Members to Test a DECKED Storage System

If the opportunity is still available I'd love to test out a system on our family rig: a 2006 GMC Sierra with the 5.8' bed. One of the few shots I've takenoff road: A more recent photo after getting it to match my personality a little: We've had this truck for a year and plan on driving...

    2000 Chevy Suburban Duramax

Nice Duraburb! I'm usually the kind of guy that likes a smaller bumber, but this one is kinda growing on me.

Plastic vs. Metal Body Fridge/Freezer (i.e. ARB vs Edgestar Construction)

I have the Edgestar FP430. The metal siding is pretty robust and easy to clean. I'm happy with it and feel noo need for plastic. However, I do not see plastic being bad. May be easy to chip and crack...but that's a guess based on my limited time around them.

To shell or not shell... That is the question...?

I'll say keep it and live with it. Have one on my 6' bed Chevy I thought of selling after a few months, but when I got my 5.8' GMC without a shell I found myself missing it, so both trucks have a shell now along with a bedrug in each. Though it may be limiting on occasion, I find it almost...

Mounting a RTT to a standard model truck cap

As long as you are not violently shaking around too often/at all I thought you should be ok.

Hey Vortec Guys! / Sierra pickup / Suburban / Yukon etc - Finally has Index!

I had to do the same due to a fuel gauge. I meant more of lights for the CEL, Brakes, Cruise Control, etc.

Hey Vortec Guys! / Sierra pickup / Suburban / Yukon etc - Finally has Index!

Good job on the lights. I had to do the same in both my trucks and the indicator in my 05 Chevy. My 06 GMC steering wheel controls needed new bulbs as well. I found the process a bit intimidating, but now I tear into these clusters without hesitation. Did you do the bulbs for indicators as...

AA1PR’s Yukon Long Term Build & Adventure Videos 56K

I was looking at post #283 for some info since I saw your ham set-up in the picture thread. How did you mount that Icom between the center console and radio/storage area? I have an 05 Silverado and 06 Sierra I may want to do the same to.

GMT 800 Fuel Pump - Preventive maintenance?

I know this is old, but I believe Seafoam in the tank every oil change helps. Reason I say this: My 05 Silverado used to misfire under load fairly often if held at higher RPMs. After trying to fix it myself, I took it to a local shop and they had it worked on for almost 2 weeks non stop. New...

    Coleman Grill Issues

Is the larger tank sending too much pressure, and perhaps there is a valve that shuts on high pressure?

    2005 Silverado "Work Truck" build

Thanks for the info. I used to run 91 in it: I may go back to doing so here soon. I may look into the swaybar, but I don't feel any body roll issues at this time. Maybe I will now that you mentioned it... As much fun as it is, a V6 to V8 swap is a LOT of work on these trucks. Also, mine has...
