Yeah, it was an existing 2nd battery already installed before I got the Lithium. I really don’t need it, but if I’m ever winching a ton I can combine the two AGM batteries for more power.

I have a similar setup. I use an AGM starter battery, a 2nd smaller battery that is isolated via a blue sea solenoid which then feeds a DCDC 15 amp Victron charger to charge my Lithium ion battery in the rear. I also have a 160W panel that charges the Lithium battery via a Victron MPPT charger...
Thanks for sharing John. Are you the world famous John Moore from Divebums.com? I’m a long time San Diego diver who used your site for many years. Your photography on land is just as awesome as your underwater imagery. I’ve transitioned from diving to overlanding in my 100 series land cruiser...
I have this exact tent & love it. To me, it's worth the space it takes up in the back of my Land Cruiser. Bump for a great tent!

On a recent death valley trip, my edge star quit keeping stuff cold. It probably has a leak. I've had it constantly running for about 2.5 years. Time for a National Luna or ARB.
I recently camped out in Death Valley with 50mph winds and my turbo tent. I ended up having to roll up the awning and tie it up
To prevent it from flapping in the strong winds and keeping me up all night. Has anyone come up with an elegant way to prevent this? Almost like it needs a zipper...
I have used my turbo tent in some wet weather, but always dry it before storing. I've noticed the pole hinges get stiff and I use some silicon lube to allow the pins to work correctly. However , I have not noticed and corrosion like this. I'd contact Black pine..
I just got back from attending the Hundred in the Hills event in Ouray, Co. An impressive number of 100 series Land Cruisers gathered for a weekend of off-roading fun.
Here is the blog I created to document the trip.
