Could not agree more. Even though mine is currently my farm truck, I still find myself driving it to my other job as well. Edgar has a leg up, or I guess 2 cylinders, on my old Heavy Chevy though. I think one of the first things I'm going to do when I get to working on him is drop in either a...
Love the pictures, love the truck. 'Bout the same as everyone else so far. Your pictures really make me want to go back and explore that area some more. Thank you for sharing!
Good looking truck and fun stories. I'm definitely sticking around to see how all the swaps and stuff go. Might borrow some ideas for when I get the time to work on mine!
Awesome trip report. More to explore in my own state!! When you went to Missoula you should have popped over to the Garnet ghost town. You can actually still go in the three story hotel there.
Love the truck. I have a 19 crew cab, sounds like what you had before. I have the plug and 12V on the dash and the touchscreen as well. I think the touch screen depends on the stereo. Can't wait to see how the truck does and what ideas I can borrow from you!
Bought it last August and it hasn't changed much. Weather tech mudflaps and some running boards. The XL fit the budget best and the STX was a nice addition to it. Love the 6.2 gasser. Where it serves as a daily with occasional towing it made more sense. Hoping to add some taller tires, a 2wd...
I keep seeing the 55 front, 40 rear set up here and other forums, mostly for towing/empty there. I'm working on getting Forscan to adjust where the idiot light starts to scream at me. I'll probably bump back up to 60 for towing the stock trailer or the skid steer. Never had the thought of...
It's got 275/70R18 Goodyear Wranglers. I was thinking about adjusting the TPMS to a lower level so I can run the lower pressures on the road when I'm not towing a trailer. I have this air compressor https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077N9PXV3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hey all. I have a 2019 Super Duty that I'm trying to find a pressure to air down the tires to for being out on dirt roads and trails. The 60 psi from the factory about rattled my teeth out of my head the other day. Any recommendations? I know it's heavier than my old truck and didn't know if...
Not sure if the 5.3L will match up to the 5 speed that I have, but I guess that's something to look at. I just assumed to swap both but that hadn't crossed my mind. Thanks for the info.
Love the trip report and Build thread all in one. Makes me want to tinker with my '94. You mentioned sliding mounts for the 5.3L, where were you able to find those? I was tossing aroudn the idea of dropping one of those in to replace my 4.3L.
I know this is an older post, but I just found your trailer and it looks awesome. All the pictures are great. I may use this as a reference to build one of my own.
