I wish the batteries were more inside, they are in metal boxes that hang down on either side behind the wheels. Not ideal for a number of reasons, but that is where they put them. There is access from inside the camper, but they are fairly isolated under the floor.
Great info from everyone, what a rabbit hole these Lithium batteries are. They seem to make sense and if I can get the same or similar performance from a single 100ah as my two AGM's. I don't know why I wouldn't give it a go aside from the cold weather aspect. I need to figure out which one to...
It would be a definite roll of the dice with weather, but I could run the Lithium and if it gets cold outside switch over to the single AGM. My 12 volt system runs lights, National Luna fridge/freezer, and a water pump so not much demand. The batteries are under the camper so no...
What do you guys do when when one of your dual batteries takes a dump? I have dual Duracell AGM Group 31's in my camper wired in parallel and was getting prepped for a trip and discovered one of the batteries is bad, practically has no charge and fails load testing. The other battery tests...
How did we go from a discussing a budget imported trailer and the import process to a dealer selling the same budget trailer for double the price? At close to $50k it defeats the point of buying one of these in my opinion.
Looking at some propane stove options since my camper is plumbed for propane. I have a Coleman 425e white gas that has served me well and looks to be easily converted to propane. How do these stoves run on propane? It has never been a powerful stove on white gas and I am wondering how it...
I picked these up a while back for my Fox 2.5 coilovers on my GX470 and never installed them. They are a 650lb spring rate as I felt the 600's were too soft for the weight of the truck. Please verify these springs will fit your shocks, I would imagine they work with most 2.5's that are for the...
Got all of the electrical squared away and took it out for a few nights. I really like the bed setup and the kitchen. It stayed super warm with a small electric heater on cold nights that got into the 20's. It is a really nice compromise between a full hard side trailer and a tent or regular...
I have been able to spend a little time going through some things and found a couple split water lines that need repaired. The pex style tubing is not standard and measures out at 15mm. I was able to find some online so hopefully the repairs are successful. Turns out SeaRay used some of this...
Anyone on here with one? I just picked up #3 and I am not sure how many are here in the states. Seems like a well built, nifty trailer. We were looking at either a Dweller or Mantis for the family, but this popped up within driving distance and instantly loved the tip out beds, that it is...
Thanks for that info. We could really use the dual bunks of the Opus, but for the price difference it certainly isn't worth it as it seems we are talking apples to apples otherwise.
