Thanks all for the ideas. Voltage at the plug has never dropped below batt voltage. I have ordered Anderson plugs though, just for good measure. It's wired with 8 ga. now but I'm going to rewire with 6. Also, I emailed Dometic over a week ago and no reply yet. I've heard bad things about...
I''m having intermittent problems with my Dometic fridge. Sometimes it's happy to run for days. Other times, almost immediately, it will throw the three blinking red LED error code and shut down. It will restart if you hard reboot it (pull its cord and reinsert). This always happens on battery...
UCA clearance
I run 285/75-16 MTs on stock '09 Tacoma TRD rims. About 5 1/4" backspace I think. They definitely rub on the UCAs, and I have Camburg UCAs. To get enough clearance I run 1 1/4" Spidertrax spacers. Zero trouble with the spacers under any circumstances, even highway.
I recently...
Oct. trip? Maybe. I have several things in mind, but time, money and my real life seem to get into the mix all the time. You have something in mind? One of the things I want to do is photograph Shamans Gallery. But while I'm up there....?

I have an '09 Tacoma. and also drove from SD to LB for the install. Same experience as yours on the way back. I installed OME Dakars with the extra leaf and even with all my camping junk, inc. on board water, I'm at least at stock height or a little above and the bed no longer moves around...
I have a somewhat modified aluminum toolbox in the front of the bed of my Tacoma. I mad a baffled fiberglass storage tank to fit that's about 10" high. It holds about 16 gallons. I put a 6" marine deck plate in the top for access and a small drain out the bottom. Currently I'm using a 12v Rule...
I have an '09 and my Flip Pac was installed by the factory in Long Beach. They drilled through the camper shell rail, the bed rail and through the steel rail used for the cargo hold downs. So far it's been pretty sturdy.
