Need to pick a route. I plan on a composting toilet that will be DIY.
Should I have a separate pee tank or run my kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and shower into the same tank?
I am thinking the grey water tank will be less likely to get as nasty without pee in it.
What do you think?

I would leave it hot and use a tempering valve set to your desired max temperature. That would give you overall more hot water. But, that would use more power.

Nice report..... just a few questions....
Is there a “P trap” (Not Pee trap) between the toilet and the yellow tank? Just curious if one would be necessary to keep smells down.
Looks like you have a tank vent or overflow..... is that what it is for?
I was thinking of building my own toilet...
Anyone have a good low cost source for d5wz dosing pumps?
Also, I would like to build a custom wiring harness. Anyone know what connectors they use for the brains and fuel pump?

Just an FYI......
Electrodacus has an SBMS0 now. That will be my plan for my BMS so I can have all of the features but then use an MPPT controller for charging.

I just noticed something I have not seen before.
Does your pillow go edge too edge on your cab? It looks like it is the entire width of your truck.

Lain,
Would you see any issue of switching the bellows to the outside of the pillow? I was wondering if you bungee cords would not be needed if it were done that way. Plus the pillow would stay dry. I have an alternate way to disconnecting the tunnel in mind for engine work.
Thanks!

So, the reason I picked a 100 is that it was the largest used tank I could find that fits where I can make space. I looked into custom tanks, and they were unjustifiable in my opinion.
Now I am a leaning towards using the 100 for everything as primary with shortened pickup tubes for Aux. Then...
Looking at a large truck setup with a 54 gallon tank and a 100 gallon tank.
I plan to have a transfer pump from the secondary tank to the primary to use to refuel as needed. The primary tank will feed directly to the motor.
Would you use the 100 as primary or the 54 as primary. I am leaning...
I am looking at a ‘97 m1083....... progressive said it was too big. Maybe I could do a commercial vehicle for non-commercial use.

Progressive says they do not insure home built campers.
I found a builder that can build my RV, and he vin is federally issued, so that should be ok.
Who is everyone else using for insurance?

I am looking at buying a former Millitary vehicle as a base for a camper build. I called my insurance company and they said they could not cover the truck as a truck because it was too big. I asked if it could be listed as an RV. They said no.
They said the weight was not the issue. Since it...
I am curious how you are achieving the square footage increase from driving to camping. Please elaborate.
Loved the last build. Looking forward to the next one.
