Hi - sorry, I didn't get a notification of your question.
This camper does not have underbed storage, but it can be order from OEV and installed by a dealer.
I've had a couple kayaks mounted up top on the crossbars, at 80lbs each (160lbs + single solar panel).
While it wasn't easy, we were able to raise and lower the roof with two people supporting the weight on our back (e.g. standing on the bench seat).
I definitely wouldn't do it solo -...
New version of the Aluma tray released.
Has rear sealed storage drawer, upgraded lights, and options for a 14" bulkhead/headache rack:

The Overland Explorer Vehicle Backcountry / Camp-X is truly one of the best truck campers available. Built to withstand tough conditions, it's both durable and incredibly lightweight at just 1,210 lbs. This camper performs exceptionally well year-round, including in extreme winter temperatures...
Truck is pending sale.
Camper is still available - note you will need to order and install the bracket mounting kit for your truck brand/model from OEV if you want to use the torklift tie-downs.
OEV makes a new “tall” version of the HB popup that is 2” taller inside. I have a Camp-X and never had an issue sitting up in bed.
Does anyone know the exact height measurements of the Camp-X compared to an HB for the bed area?
