I built mine out of the cutout sip panel. Channel perimeter and used an architectural roto hinge. Recessed fold our door lever and a commercial dead bolt. It was very stout

Here ya go I got my patent on the topper a few yrs ago. Been busy with my auto upholstery biz. Working with founder of LineX to coat all the panels and seal all attachments. Nice thing is the weight should be around 300lbs

Love my 03 AC. I plan to remove the bed and replace it with a frp composite pod hard side poptopper. 8 X 5 X 4 pops up to 8. Should only add less than 150lbs once bed is replaced

One thing also I had polyurea spray machine come in and the crate got flagged. Everyone in that crate had to share the expense of the 2nd inspection and fortuntatly there were like 10 orders in it. Would have sucked if it was just a few

You could always slant it to get the 2 feet. It could be seating or storage. I am building a hard sided poptopper pod for a client 14 on the floor slanted to 16 over all length. The slant lower will hold his fishing poles exterior and above a full wall of storage for the inside.

Great build but you did all the nice carbon and now you are painting it? With all the infusion do you have that many flaws that is noticeable? Seems like a overkill of your time for layers of paint and clear on camper that will get scratched eventually

This is for s first gen tundra ext cab. The tailgate must be removed. It features a tilt up rear hatch as well as a center entrance door. Locally I was told around 5k to get one installed. $1500.00. It is located in Jefferson Ga
