Looking for some guidance on replacing the duals with a super single. It would appear that a 37 is going to be the smallest we can go. The up armored HMMWV tires are good for 4k each, but I'm not sold on the 16.5. Getting custom 20's is the other option. Been doing lots of digging on here...
Just as the title says, slow. Working through some minor gremlins and doing a little bit more on the interior. Going to try to get some pics this week.
All of the weather stripping is twenty years old now and leaks really bad. Mainly at the corners where it has shrunk up. We called our ambo manufacturer and they sent us what they use now. Way too small. Has anyone replaced it, and what did you end up using?

You may find it hard to believe, but that fine rug is the original carpet.
Time to trim the fat and lose all the battery draining gremlins. So thankful that the fd had a full set of schematics for the box.
Removed all of the emergency lighting and sirens. Pretty much all that's left is the rear lighting. Lots of space remaining to create circuits like we want them.
Wheels are here. We used dodge wheels with center machined out to match the dana 80 hub. Tires are 34x11.50 17 toyo at's.
Good thing we lifted the carport too.
Time to lose a little weight.
That was the front end, the easy end. Due to the box configuration over the rear springs, no photos were taken from sheer frustration.
