Hi stwfj ! hope i pronounced that right :Wow1: I have a 1928 Essex that had an axle like that, which i trashed for a Jaguar independent system. The best thing to do is the same, swap for a modern setup. Look at the gear on this site for good ideas, you will soon find the way to get it...

Regular caravans have the wheels in the middle!, but i think that trailer would look better with a standard VW split window front with the doors welded up, instead of two backs.:costumed-smiley-007
