Well today is the day the Titan Swap started. Took way way longer then I thought to get things apart. Broke my breaker bar, and had to cut 5 bolts so far. Got to the inner tie rods, but with out a proper tool I could not get the torque I needed.
I wish there were more options in the 255. My dad is currently running 265 75 16 load range D in the Duratrac's and is very happy with them. For mainly on road use and moderate offroad (not being a rock donkey) the 265 is a sweet spot on the truck. Clearance, traction and weight is pretty good.
I have been running the 3.36's with 285's and would like a regear. But I think at this point I might just do the 205 with stock gears and then regear in year or two, or maybe I should do it now?
Took some photos of the Titan seats and the work that is needed to install them. Hopefully I can get a thread up in the next couple of days.
I also need help. Right no w I am torn between getting extended CV's and keeping my Lokka locked R180 front diff. I love the way it performs, and so far...
Looks like a fun build. I have been toying with the idea of buying a salvage titan from auction and swapping everything over at once. But I seem to be doing it one piece at a time instead. So far my favorite part from a titan is the seats

I have been very busy lately with work and life. We are going on our annual spring desert migration soon. A few mods I have done to the truck are a new bed platform in the back. And I put Titan Pro4x leather seats in. Best mod ever. Wow
My brother bought one of those this year. Loves it. Only major issue for him was one of the fancy rear shocks blew and leaked allover his parking garage. Now all you need is a low profile GOFSR tent on top of that thing
