I have one and so far have been happy with it. The mattress is comfy and set up is easy enough. I do not like the attachment system on it, but will try to rectify it, and the rainfly rods are hard to take out of the frame after being installed.
I have been happy with the Leer so far. I can't remember if it was a 100XR or 100CC. Either way I have the single latch of the XR with the extra fibreglass of the CC in the roof. Happy with it so far.
Thanks for the info as for the GX470 my wife has an issue with the Lexus, or any premium brand. She is a public health nurse and does home visits. She feels that showing up in a premium brand vehicle could cause some issue
My wife has decided to replace her Tiguan daily driver. We have been looking at 4runners on the internet. I am shocked at the prices some people ask for these vehicles used. Our plan is to try and keep this next vehicle for at least another 10 years. I am curious how rusty they will become...
I have had a few people ask about my bedslide. Here is a quick run down.
All photos taken on my potatoe phone. Sorry

I started with some heavy duty dollies from the hardware store, and mounted them to the Utilitrack on the truck. I had to cut...
In the bike world recent tests have thrown out the theory that higher air pressures are more efficient. All of those bounces you feel are lost momentum. Running a lower pressure will allow the tire to deform around rocks and bumps without slowing you down. Obviously at some point the pressure...
If you disconnect the wiring harness to the back up sensors, then you don't have them going off all the time with dirt, ice, bikes, or whatever happens to be behind you.
Not much more done recently. I did decide to replace the factory battery, that is corrosion prone due to venting, with a Optima yellow top. Still trying to figure out how to mount a few things to the truck for usability.
A few little updates. Installed an Oldman Emu lift and Hefty Sliders onto my dads Pro4x. He is pretty stoked. He had his sliders painted Anthracite grey to match the rims.
I am also playing around with a few things on my truck. Such as how I want to install my Roof Top tent. I also got my...
Mad rush to install the front bumper and winch and the Roof Top Tent before the family trip. Ended up removing the tent before the trip, because my family wanted to hotel it instead. The Yakima Sky Rise is pretty slick for a tent. Light and simply to install.

Thanks for the advice will probably take that route home Thursday and friday. Do you know if there are any routes through the dunes? So that we are less likely to get lost or stuck?
Heading to your neck of the woods Sunday. At least in comparison to where I am now. We are going to spend 5 days at Cannon Beach. Any recommended hikes or must do trips?
Or any suggestions on the 90 vs the 84?
