    New Carbon Fiber EarthRoamer

I'd rather have an Acela and a Total Composites box. Not going to go 55mph on the TAT anyways. There's even 6x6 AWD versions, so camper weight is a non issue. $25k. Decent used freight boxes are only $3k. How do you get the cab off of an Earthroamer?

Air Ride on an expo vehicle?

I used to run airbags. Combining proper steel, and Sumo Rebel springs seems like a good option.

Unicorn: a 4 Valve Head Pushrod Engine

Reliable 1000 horsepower from a 3.0l v12. 50% thermal efficiency from the modern 1.6l v6 used in F1. A 450cc dirtbike that can jump over a Boeing 747 (parked). Nearly 500hp and 1000tq from a 6.7l diesel that meets retarded EPA specs.

Air Ride on an expo vehicle?

Lack of suspension travel. Fragility. If the bags are setup for multiple ride height adjustments, you might find that they're too soft at low height setting, where you need them to be stiff. And too stiff at tall settings, where you need them to be soft.

Ram 4500 with Artic Fox 1150 tire pressure question

Feel free to try that. If it's not too bad, let those fresh tires get 10k miles before making alignment changes. And I think you meant load range F.

Unicorn: a 4 Valve Head Pushrod Engine

Overhead cams vs pushrod, has no effect on torque at all, by itself. Overhead cams generally have bigger better valves, or more of them. So they can breath better at higher rpms, so might be combined with an oversquare revvy bore and stroke ratio. That combo, all together, makes a...

Truck Suggestions? Let's hear your TC hauler thoughts!

As for the spare tire argument. I see that many of the lighter campers with a low tail, don't go as low as the rear bumper. Access to the spare jack is cake still: And I'd leave those heavy camper jacks at home. Any decent crane can get your camper off and supply some simple cribbage...

Truck Suggestions? Let's hear your TC hauler thoughts!

1.) Range of my gas truck has never been an issue yet. Gas has been cheaper to own and travel with overall. From my point of view, fuel mileage is feel good BS. It has never had a significant effect on my travels, or travel budget. Neither good or bad. DRW and a large camper, go diesel for...

One more for today....F-250 to get MONSTER V-8 in 2020

Yep it's nice. We've been doing it wrong all these years. It's only a matter of time before we start seeing very short stroke gas truck engines. Especially if hybrids, and mild turbos continue to catch on. Although they'd have to be extremely mild on a tow truck.

One more for today....F-250 to get MONSTER V-8 in 2020

Nope. Check the bore stroke and cam profile. Not to mention the valve size. It's an rpm screamer just like the 6.2l. Modern engines can harmlessly take advantage of rpm that previous engines couldn't. Long stroke engines like the 5.4l had massive torque, everyone here called them...

Jeep Halts Gladiator Sales, Issues Recall,...anyone know the update to this?

You have to call the majik number and memorize the SB number because dealers are nearly all too incompetent to look it up themselves. It's really quite sad. You should be able to walk in, grunt, toss the keys on the desk, and point to your new gladiator, and they'll figure it out. That's...

    Ram 2500 vs Ford F250

Better budget a transmission for either of those. Go to each trucks forum for the straight scoop. Or dieselstop. You won't get accurate info here anymore.

SRW vs DRW? Planning to install a coach on a Ford Super Duty but can't decide on wheel configuration (dually?)

Drw. 2900 is a fat pig to have on your back. And expect it to just get heavier. I want to stay under 2000 with my srw. Drw's have served me well off road and on backroads. Just limited tire selection, and ground clearance. Another option is a F550 with a super single tire conversion.

Ford Offers New fox Improved Off Road Kit for It’s F-150 and Ranger

Everyone I know is pretty much running a leveling kit on a 150 of some sort. So yeah. 2.0 coilovers for $1500, might be fair I guess. Some used cheap pucks which suck. Some used decent Bilstein leveling kits with adjustment, which are nice. Some, King 2.5 coilovers which were, IIRC...

Trail use conflicts: the solution is real simple.

But, but, the data clearly shows that you should give billions of dollars to my friends who can launder a portion of it back to me. That's the best way to save our planet.

Trail use conflicts: the solution is real simple.

Air is crystal clear where I'm at. I don't need filthy cali folks deciding what I should or shouldn't do. People should clean up their own homes before preaching about elsewhere. I'll second that it's hippies and city folk littering the most in our parks and tourist areas. But foreign...

One more for today....F-250 to get MONSTER V-8 in 2020

Yep. As usual, the chumpy RV shmucks complained about the trucks height. 350's are lower, 250's are 2" lower than 350's again. Started this model year. 17's and 18's were about the same height, and quite tall.
