You're right. I see them now on the BFG site....it appears they were just released in the 285/60/18 on Sept 1st of this year - just a few weeks ago. You'll be surprised at how much weight gets added when going on a simple camp trip :)
Also be aware that the 265 will be a narrower tire than...
I don't believe the KO2s come in a 285/60/18, only a 285/65/18 which may be a bit big without other modification as it will be a 32.59" tire
IMO the KO2s in the 265/65/18 are the way to go over the Zeon's in the 285/60/18. The reason I say this is because the KO2s are a LT e-code tire which...
I think must of the recommendations for the Interstates comes from the fact that this is the battery that nearly all LR Dealers use. Shortly after I purchased my used LR3 the original battery went south. My LR3 was still under the factory warranty so LR replaced mine with an Interstate...
Do you by chance know the amp draw of the Wrangler NW Product battery isolator when its in the separated state? I've searched the net and couldn't find anything.
The way I see it is as follows just from a back of envelope calculation perspective :
In share mode the difference between the SC80 and USI160 is 95ma. So 0.095 * 24 = 2.28 ah (amp hour) per day difference.
With the USI160 in separated mode vs the SC80 in shared the difference is 235ma. So...
I started with the SC-80 (prior to the USI 160 releasing) but then switched to the USI-160. The reason I switched is all around power consumption of the dual battery controllers/isolators to maximize the available power to what you need it for. Most folks aren't aware that these dual battery...
I agree. I plan to go to Deka once my Interstate (primary) and Optima (secondary) fail. I've decided to go Deka over the Odyssey primarily because of the higher grade charger needed for the Odyssey's...they also need dedicated chargers for each battery. Deka's aren't quite as particular about...
If the intended use is for a day trip and single night max, then a cooler should fit the bill. the question now is how much stuff will you be looking to load in the cooler for one of these day trips/over nighters and then get the cooler size that matches the need.
An alternative is to...
yeah, I got lucky that my 2008 was an HSE with Lux package and every other available option package. It also had the black interior I wanted and my 2nd exterior color choice. Low miles (38K) and complete service history. So everything I wanted and more. Just took 3 months to find with daily...
LR4 have larger brakes and thus require a different offset rim for 18s to clear....the Compomotive are the only rims that have the proper offset. the alternative is to use wheel spacers with the factory 18s.
